Well, you get what you pay for… but that is not necessarily negative, but honest. We chose this over La Quinta and the other more expensive stays on the strip based on the reviews, which were wonderful. After doing a cross country trip and staying and spending so much money we thought this would be a great opportunity to try a new chain. I must say the staff was absolutely excellent!!! I just wish that the accommodations were as well.
There is a known problem with the room keys, and fortunately the director of some operations was there and she showed the staff how to fix it (until they get the upgrades in September), but there was a problem with our actual first room door, plus it was right next to the elevator, and we were exhausted so even though they were booked as someone was canceling, they immediately got us into another room.
Again, the staff was excellent.
However, the room smelled awful. The table was dirty with crumbs. We went downstairs to purchase some dryer sheets to put in the air conditioning vents and they were so kind to give them to us complementary… but that did not help until we bought some spray from a local store and that took care of it. The bed mattresses were comfortable however the frames had springs and they were so incredibly loud with every movement not to mention no ice machines except in the actual freezer that we had to turn on, and it was incredibly loud and woke us up a few times when the ice dropped. Won’t stay again unless we have to.
