The property was very basic. It’s clean, but the bed was not so comfortable and the street noise was loud. However you get what you pay for, the value was high for the price and the location which was walkable to Beverly Hill. The hotel Staff were extremely friendly. Inaccurate room pricing.

Although nightly cost of a reservation at the Carlyle Inn on Hotels.com states that it includes all taxes and fees, we found to our dismay that a "metropolitan fee" would be added to the cost. These add on fees are common to encourage competitive pricing, it has been our experience that we are advised of that prior to booking. On our experience on the stay, don't expect them to remember to provide a wake up call.

The property was much older than pictured, and the room was not well maintained. Both the shower curtain and the curtains in our room were ripped and hanging and our room had tons of ants. On the positive side, the beds were fairly comfortable.

Great place to stay

Very clean and comfortable hotel in Pico Robertson area. Coffee available in room and lobby, plus wine in late afternoon. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent grab bars in shower.

After inspecting the room and property, we decided not to stay and booked another hotel. The location felt unsafe, and the parking wasn't gated. We were given a room on the first floor, which was accessible directly from the street. Despite being told the hotel was fully booked, there were fewer than 10 cars in the parking lot (including the underground one). P.s. The room did not look like photos and the carpet was very dirty. Nice photography I must say.

Would go again but the sound could be an issue.

Nice staff, safe location. However, the room (at least our room) had one of those shared doors. You could hear every word the neighbour was saying and they were not yelling. You could also smell what they were eating or doing.

Great choice for a one night stay

We stayed at the Carlyle Inn for one night only while visiting a family member. It was very convenient to Beverly Hills. This property feels older, but our room on the 4th floor was very clean. Beds and pillows were great. Remember, you are in busy BH/LA and so streets are noisy. We sleep with ear plugs, so noise was not an issue for us. Evening front desk was really helpful when I needed assistance with parking. The garage is small. Big vehicles will struggle. Overall, we'd stay here again.
