Great hotel in Marylebone

Hotel ideally located in Marylebone, right next to Baker Street Tube, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, Regents park just up the rad, Hotel itself very welcoming and breakfast was awesome!

I stayed in a double single room. Tight quarters, but that was expected. It was fine for one person. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom was fine. Breakfast in the morning is a very nice feature.

Excellent stay at the Blandford Hotel

My grandson was having a procedure done at a hospital nearby . It was only an 8min walk from hospital having to be there by 7am we didnt have breakfast that day . I stayed at the Blandford the week before When he had an operation had a lovely breakfast after a great nights sleep .Every member of staff were excellent. It is a very nice place to stay .

The staff is very attentive. Especially Mahesh & Antonio!. Housekeeping and the breakfast staff are commendable as well. The elevator is very small, however we never had any issues. Just had to make 2 trips to get 2 pieces of medium luggage up to the room & back down. Antonia was so helpful in moving oir luggage when we had a room. Change . Very safe area Chiltern Street in Marylebone. I highly recommend The Blandford Hotel for your London stay!

The hotel is a very good location only 10 mins walk from Marylebone train station, easy to find and in a quiet and safe area. The area is also surrounded of restaurants and shops. Roughly 25 mins to soho and most of attractions are close by 45 mins walk maximum. Breakfast was delicious with sausages, boiled and fried eggs, beans , bacon , ham , cheese and salami followed by croissants, muffins , jams , chocolate spread and bread. Coffe and soya or almon milk are on the counter too, with some juice and fresh fruit. Our room was big enough but I found a bit odd that our room had a fire exit door in the room. If you have the heating ON there is the noise of the fan which is very annoying and the carpet wasn’t very clean. We only had a small hand towel instead of one each and didn’t had coffe pods. (We had to ask for it but the gentleman at the desk was very kind and handed us different ones) . The bedside was moved like someone has been in there and in the shower there were couple of dark hair , not very pleasant. So in terms of cleaning I would say that is average. We were also able to store our luggage there for the day without issues. Everyone was kind , the check in was smooth and quick and the checkout too.

Lovely stay at Blandford, first time staying there and the staff were very helpful, room was quiet, not the largest but was clean and well kept. Loads of local choice of restaurants within 2 minutes walk. Safe area of London if you're a lone traveler. I'd stay here again.

Brilliant shower. Room was ok, bed a bit too firm for our liking. Good Nespresso machine. Very handy for Marylebone and Baker Street. This was the reason for our choosing. Good luggage service and reasonable price for London. Good breakfast included.

Value for money. Very close to Baker Street tube station, which made the hotel an ideal location to explore London. The room was clean and presentable. The price point is reflected in the size of the room which is acceptable when you compare it to other options in that locality. The staff were very polite and welcoming apart from one exception. If your body clock is out of sync, then I would swerve this one. The guy on nights initially refused to unlock the door for my partner to smoke a cigarette outside. Then requested she stands in the entrance. He wouldn't allow her to sit in the foyer either. Waving her away saying no! no! go to your room whilst kicking back on the chairs himself with his head buried in his phone. So, would I return. Nope.

The 4 star rating must have been granted a while ago. This hotel was a solid 3 star - nothing particularly special. The room had no heating, only air conditioning; the lift door did not fully close; and there was significant wear-and-tear in the room and around the building.

The hotel was nice but should offer some facilities like a bigger seating area and a few more amenities. The shower also needs attention . It is very compact and easy to flood the floor so more room is required in a small cubicle. It is powerful but sprayed everywhere
