Our hotel was amazing. The parking is convenient in the garage, and lots within walking distance. We were delayed by 1 day and the hotel held up our reservation. Expedia was not helpful in contacting the hotel, I had to do it myself. Expedia will not refund my 1 day fees for our delay thats out of my control due to flight change. I will not use them again.

When we asked housekeeping to come in a little later since we were getting ready to leave at 8 am they never came for 9 whole days and when we did ask they said they would send someone and no one came. The rooms are very old and dirty with ripped bedding and just overall everything looks dirty and is broke like the closet doors and fridge. The parking is there but you still have to pay and it’s an inconvenience to have to go pay at a while other machine separate form everything else. There were bugs climbing over the room.

The bathroom wasn’t that good. The shower pressure is extremely low. The front desk wasn’t as friendly. Our keycards were deactivated 1 day before our official checkout and we had to get them to reactivated.

The sofa and the mattress on it were very uncomfortable; we couldn’t sleep. Also, during our 10-day stay at the hotel, our room was not cleaned, even though we asked twice.

The staff were nice, but the parking was very complicated and expensive. There were hidden fees for amenities, many of which we never received or used, but they were great about loaning out towels.

The reason we are coming back to Aston Waikiki Sunset is the staff. From the moment we checked in last December 8 at 2:20 p.m., the front desk staff was amazing—sorry, I can’t remember his Hawaiian name; it had a lot of A’s and I’s. Kidding aside, we especially love the housekeeping staff, as they try their best to provide all our needs.
