The cabin was clean and was perfect for a weekend getaway! There are no chairs for the fire, so I’d bring folding chairs if I stayed again.

Everything about Mountaineer Cabin 6 was perfect during our short two day stay. Easy check in, very clean, plenty of kitchen supplies and towels, etc. The hot tub worked great, lots of jets to get all the sore spots after a long hike. La Quinta Inn & Suites Summersville / New River National Park
Staff was great as always. The rooms are always clean and breakfast is good and hot. The only issue is the king beds are high off the floor making it difficult for a person under 5'5" to get on. La Quinta may think about lowering them on their next renovation.
