Breakfast was great, staff was super friendly, it was cozy. This is not a typical large-chain, multi-story hotel. It more cozy and old-school. We had a great time.

I checked in later in the evening. Unfortunately after receiving my room key, I opened the door and immediately saw a few roaches in the room. There was a huge on near the kitchen and also a few on an ottoman. I was extremely disappointed and it was almost 2am, the clerk did apologize and took me to another room on the 5th floor. It seemed clean, but after the previous encounter I was left feeling paranoid. The bathroom seemed pretty cleaned except the closet facing the sink seemed to have some odd stains.

One set of elevators in the middle of the building- very long walk to room at end of the hall. Appears to be very clean and has very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable clean bed, room towels etc. The kitchenette could come in handy for a longer stay. Underwhelming cheap looking finishes that look like they are already taking a beating, so for that price I was not impressed. The free breakfast was a nice plus , average food but good variety.

I really liked the suite with the kitchenette. The couch was a man-eater. The breakfast buffet was great, though you need another waffle iron as it was very popular. The elevators made me wonder how safe they were - the noises the one made and how slowly the door opened on the other. I would stay here again.
