Unpleasant front desk staff. Trash still in the room from prior visitor. Bathroom sink didn’t drain, mold on the ceiling in the shower. Bug in the bed and the room was never cleaned during our stay. Little to nothing offered at breakfast which caused problems and a loud argument with the staff and patron. We left a day early due to the hotel conditions and accommodations. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Seems as though people are living there as well.

The Hotel was reasonable. The Check in manager was helpful. They do have a $100 deposit policy. They will return the deposit if there is no damage. There is a $10 parking fee per night. It is not secured parking but the check in manager said we could park our car outside our room. With the price of the hotel, the parking is very fair. They do mention the deposit and parking on an email prior to arriving. The view of the Susquehanna River was nice and relaxing. We did not spend a lot of time in the room since we went to enjoy a car show at Carlisle.

Blood, bugs and drugs! Very very unsafe place to be. Drug addicts everywhere. This hotel rents rooms to homeless people. They have a no refund policy and it was really hard to get my refund. The manager is not onsite and only available after 10 am the next day. There is no housekeeper in the evenings and no maintenance. The front desk agent would not enter the room to see what the problem I had was. He absolutely refused to walk past the door. So obviously he knew full well that it wasn’t safe to be in there. The state health department needs to shut this place down. It’s not even safe for homeless people. I have children and I was not staying another night in that hotel with them. Hopefully we don’t get sick from mold exposure. The first floor rooms in the back of the hotel are completely full of black mold under the carpet and wallpaper. The smell was so strong. I smoke and I am not usually bothered by strong smells but this wasn’t safe. They changed my room to upstairs. That room didn’t smell as bad but the curtains had a bloody handprint on them. The night stand drawer had a white powder in it so I’m pretty sure that was drugs. And the other drawer had bugs in it. I will be posting my videos and pictures to social media so that people can be warned.

Not the worst place I've stayed but good use a deep clean. Came in the back where another guest brought me in and it smelled like a pool that closed years ago but my room was in front and was ok at best. Went to Dollar general and grabbed some cleaning supplies that made up for the issues. Sheets needed a good wash, had burn marks. Microwave and refrigerator was ok and helpful

I think overall my issue with the hotel is is that it was poorly maintained. The hallways were dirty in the morning upon leaving there was a used condom on the floor. I have never in my life not even at senior week seen anything like that I will never stay in this hotel again.

The only honest review you need to read

The hotel is pretty worn down and in desperate need of renovations. The location and view of the place is pretty cool so its a shame why they let it go down hill. Ive stayed here before over the years and it was never this bad. The overall feel of the hotel is nasty. The walls are scuffed up and dirty everywhere. The hallways were so hot and stale the ac was just blowing hot air. The carpet has mystery sticky spot in the hallway and in our room. The key card readers to the room and exterior doors didn't work half the time. It was luck if you got it on the first five tries. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable but it was hard to enjoy with everything else that made it gross. The view was great and the AC in the room worked at least. Also no bugs or sign of them. The staff were friendly and helpful. However there was a $10 + tax charge to park in the parking lot per day which is insane to charge your guest to park with no other option. The continental breakfast was a waffle iron and coffee. Bottom line is, if you really need a cheap place to stay and its just you for the night, it would be ok. Just don't take your family here, its really gross for kids to be around. Pay more and go somewhere else.

Do you know when something is too good to be true that’s this place I thought I got a good deal for a three star hotel it might’ve been a three star hotel in India, but not here soon as I started checking in. They hit me with a $10 parking fee and then another two dollar tax plus they wanted $100 deposit they wouldn’t take cash how to be on a card Then I made three trips to the desk because my key wouldn’t work when I finally did get in the ceiling was cracked. The upholstery was torn up on the chairs. The furniture was cracked and chipped and marked. The wall was torn up. Lightbulbs were burned out. There was enough black mold in the bathtub to kill a horse I would’ve left, but there was no refund. I should’ve went anyways because in the morning, when I woke up, I was covered with bug bites from bedbugs. When I went down the desk to check out I looked at the free breakfast. It consisted of a cup of mud coffee, and a waffle you made yourself. They did give you butter, but no syrup the counter and machine look like a hog trough I should’ve just took the loss and left. and the final insult was they told me I had to wait up to 10 days to get my money back on a charge card. I told him that applies on a debit card not a charge card. They said there was nothing they could do want a dump. Do not stay here

The staff were nice, accommodating when asked/ talked to- they switched us to a room after our air conditioning wasn’t working/ they had to put us in a different room after we checked in- we booked originally through Expedia a 3rd party and we had a dog- They should know when we book but did not and then put us in a different room, it was ok to be in- it was just when we arrived they were not aware we had a dog, then after 1.5 hours after turning the air on in the room they put us in, the air it didn’t work- staff accommodated although someone who was possibly the manager was telling me how to turn the air conditioning on properly. Then the room we were in the fridge froze all water and food in there- no dial that worked, then had to throw away, ironing board was stained, room with stains on walls and doors, chairs, then stains on towels, curtains, bedding- items were ripped. Charge for parking as city, only $10 but when talking my dog out at 12am- people park in the lot then are waking to bars, other places, not safe actually to walk outside. I only reported on the air not working then the room card not working- which I had to reset although not near my cell or car keys. I will choose a hotel next time that I researched while there as I will have to go to that area frequently but can not stay at the Hanna Hotel again due to safety and cleanliness.
