The place was fine for the one night I was there. Only thing was they weren’t exactly ready at 3 which is check in time… I get that things get held up but I’d been up for almost 24 hours at that point so I just wanted to crash on the bed. But at least you know they cleaned because the floor was still kind of damp when I got into my room. It smelled clean but it lingered and gave me a headache. Otherwise a good place to stop.

We stayed two nights, and would say there again. It is an older place, but it was clean and the staff was friendly - especially the manager Manuel (Manny). He was really nice and we saw him helping several people with dining questions and directions. The continental breakfast had several good options including toast, pancakes, yogurt, pastries, juices and coffee. We were visiting Hersheypark, so we only used it as a place to catch a quick, simple breakfast and sleep, so we found it to be a good value.

Front desk staff was nice and friendly. Expedia listed amenities that weren’t actually there (not the facilities fault), but there is no pool. There was hair in our bathroom and a garbage can was forgotten (not emptied). The beds were okay. For the price and location it’s okay for a night.

The manager at this location is friendly and does a good job. The hotel is older but they do a good job of making sure the room has everything you need. The bed was older but the blankets and pillows made it pretty comfortable. I was shocked and impressed. The motel is in a good location where it is easy to get back on the highway.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the Scottish Inns & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey North, and I’m beyond disappointed both with the hotel and with Expedia. First and foremost, I was overcharged. My hotel invoice clearly states I paid $136.78, yet Expedia charged me $170.99. That’s a difference of over $34 for no justifiable reason. This is unacceptable, and I expect a full refund of the overcharge immediately. Worse than the billing issue was the condition of the room. When we arrived, the room had a strong, foul odor that made it uncomfortable to even stay inside. The sheets had visible hair in them, which clearly indicates they had not been changed or cleaned. To top it off, there was trash left in the trashcan—again, a clear sign that housekeeping had not done their job. This is not just a matter of inconvenience; it’s a health and hygiene issue, and the room should never have been rented out in that condition. It’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. I booked through Expedia expecting a minimum standard of quality. Instead, I feel like I was scammed—overcharged and placed in a filthy, unsanitary room. I strongly advise others to avoid this property, and I expect Expedia to make this right by issuing a refund.

Great Place

Stay was good. It is nothing fancy but was clean and staff was very friendly. What I paid for 3 nights was less than most places are charging for 1 night. Drive to Hershey park was easy.
