my stay was good. What a personality has no elevators. I was very hard for me to go upstairs so I waited two days to give me a different room downstairs bathroom curtain was really dirty. Other than that it was OK.

The set up for this hotel was different from other Residence Inn locations. The suites were separate from the actual hotel rooms. It was like condo buildings. Hotel amenities were still close, even though you had to go to the main building for breakfast. Great rooms!!

The manager - Mike- was very attentive and understanding about a pet issue which made it. A bit confusing to know which rooms accept pets and which ones didn’t. There was a female staff member in the mornings with long brown hair - can’t recall name- she was super nice and helpful like the manager. I hope they teach Mario how to deal with guests.

Clean and safe. There was a problem with a desk staff named Mario. He really didn’t want to help the hotel guests. Everything was a bother. He had a bad attitude , treated people poorly and did the opposite of what someone who is in his job should do which is tend to the needs of guests. Other than that cleaning crew was great, Annette was wonderful and made our room look great each time she cleaned it. About 13 min from Hershey attractions.

The staff that took care me when I checked in was amazing. I arrived a day early. I had a reservation for three days so when I arrived early, he let me start my reservation without having to pay so much money considering I got there at 5 AM it was so happy I was able to get into the room that I reserved a day early!! awesome staff!!!

The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. When we were searching for our room, multiple employees asked if we needed help and pointed us in the right direction. They had free rootbeer floats in the afternoon, which my kids loved. Again, the man serving was friendly and smiling. The downside was the rooms themselves. Our room smelled of stale smoke. The bathroom was so tiny, you almost had to step over the toilet to get in and close the door. The tiles around the bottom of the wall in the bathroom were falling off. I could see the mildew behind them. The rooms definitely need updating although they did seem clean. The indoor pool area was nice. No one was there when we were but it got super crowded that evening. I would not stay there again but the staff made up for the all the downfalls.

Never Again

The only good thing I can say about the hotel is the staff was very friendly. The room was infested with black ants and on my final morning the preteen woke us all up at 3am screaming there was a bug in her bed - after some Google searching, we decided it was a beetle. I told the front desk worker on my checkout and she told me she would tell the exterminator. I do not mind that the hotel has seen better days - cracked tiles and chipped dishes. I did mind that the room was not very clean. The floors and countertops had a layer of grime to them. I went to wipe water up on the bathroom floor after the kids showers and the hand towel came up black.
