The room and the hotel itself was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Upon arriving in our room, the smoke detector was beeping (indicating a low battery.) A call to the front desk brought the maintenance guy to our room within a few minutes and quickly changed to battery. I appreciated the immediate attention especially commendable considering it was Christmas Day. The only negative was the absence of a freezer compartment in the mini-fridge, not great for ice cream! We would stay again as this hotel is well above average in almost every respect and clearly rates the five stars.

This is the second time we have chosen to day here and not closer to where are event was. We choose this hotel because it is a quiet clean hotel. Additionally the staff at the hotel are amazing. Specifically there was one staff member at the front desk during the day that made our stay wonderful. We had a little snafu and when I went to the desk to discuss it he was beyond professional, caring, and kind. I am trying to remember his name and I’m falling short but I believe it was Yul. I do know that he works with the school system as well. How welcomed and important he made my daughter feel I will never forget. Whenever we have events in the area we always choose to stay here and will continue to choose to stay here because of how welcoming the hotel is.

Business Traveler: The hotel is conveniently located - easy off and on to I-83. The property outside was well lit and clean. The interior public spaces and room were clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. I did not eat breakfast at the on site restaurant. However, my colleague did and found the food hearty and fairly priced. The hotel did not match the “exceptional “ reviews. On site restaurant closed for renovations although no notice on website. Would never have stayed here had we know. Linens quite average. Scratchy. Accessible room (which we didn’t request) had a metal bed frame larger than mattress so we repeatedly banged into it. Front desk folks very nice. Large indoor pool. Nice lobby
