NO SMOKING… this one is very important. To protect the health and safety of our neighbors and future guests the entire property is no-smoking. We do not allow smoking of any kind.
QUIET HOURS: 9pm to 8am This one really is just us saying please be respectful of our neighbors. We know them very well, they like us… and we would like to keep it that way.
NO PARTIES. Yes, we know you are here to have fun but don’t make it messy.
RESPECT OUR THINGS. You like having nice things, so do we. It’s a great relationship.
GARAGE DOOR OPENER: In the basket by the front door. You may use it during your stay. If you take it with you there is a $75 replacement fee.
FIREPLACE: Please see the fireplace section of p. 4
FIRE-PIT: A fire-pit is provided. Wood can be purchased at ACE Hardware or Walmart Neighborhood Market. Please only use it in the designated sand area. Dispose of ashes in the metal trash can.
NO PETS. Unless of course you paid the pet fee. You must pick up after your dog. There will be a $150 fee if you do not.
TRASH. When you check-out please put your kitchen trash in the trash can outside.
GAME ROOM: Please turn off all of the machines when not in use.
THERMOSTAT: The AC can operate on a schedule or you can set it as needed. When you leave please adjust it to Cool 78 during hot weather and Heat 65 during cold weather.
RV IN THE BACK: The Airstream in the backyard is not part of the rental. It is locked. Please leave it alone.
POOL: Please see the pool section of p. 4
SEPTIC: The house is on septic. Do not flush anything down the toilet but toilet paper. Feminine products should be placed in the trash can. Please do not put oil down the kitchen sink: make a foil boat and place it into the trash can or use an empty container.
FOOD SCRAPS: There is no garbage disposal since the home is on septic. Please place food waste into the garbage. PROVIDED ITEMS: We provide an initial supply of paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper. If you have a longer stay you will need to purchase additional supplies. Pool Heater Details: we do offer the guests the option to pay $50/day to heat the pool. We have a 3 day minimum. You must prearrange the heating dates (before arrival.) If the weather is warm and heating is not needed you may cancel at any time prior to the heat being turned on. The pool does take 12-24 hrs to heat to temp and that time is included in the 3 day minimum. If the temperature is extremely low heating may not be an option. Thank you!
