Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza
"We loved our stay at the Cincinnati Netherlands Hilton! It's not because everything was perfect, but because the positives far outweigh the negatives. Positives are: Gorgeous, interesting, historic building, incredibly friendly, respectful, helpful staff--in all encounters, without exception. Very clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Our room was very spacious! The restaurant had very good, reasonably priced food and amazing wait staff! Wonderful location in City Center. A few negatives are: Our Room, 2812, had a number of things that require attention. The bathroom door squeaked so loudly that if someone needed to use the bathroom while the other person was sleeping, they couldn't open/close the bathroom door without waking the person up. It was that loud! Also, the shower soap dispenser was empty and there was only 1 small bar of soap to share between sink and shower. The coffee supplies (cups and pods) were not replaced for our 2nd day. The labeling on the phone is incorrect and should be brought up to date. There seemed to be an overall need for general upkeep of rooms and hallways. But these were inconveniences compared to all the positives of the hotel, and we'd still stay there again if we were in Cincinnati."
