Great View!

We loved this condo. The pictures are accurate and the location is exceptional. The sofa is not overly comfortable and the kitchen is not stocked as well as it could be (no knives) but overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Balcony closed

I was very frustrated to find out weeks before my vacation that the property is under mayor construction. I reached out right when I found out but couldn’t get a response and tried in multiple ways to get a hold of them. Pool was closed and beach access was also closed. The biggest bummer was my balcony with the ocean view. The whole reason I booked the room and we couldn’t even use it. The only good thing was the location and the really nice people who were also staying there.

Broken door!!

Overall stay was good. There was an issue with the key pad on the door and it took an hour and a half to get the issue resolved. We were offered 2 $25.00 meal vouchers for the inconvenience but we never received them??? This get away was for our 30th year anniversary.

Wonderful week in Destin

Very nice property, beautiful and well cared for. Furniture in living room not real comfortable for lounging, (we’re 73) but the views are wonderful and it’s Destin after all. Thoroughly enjoyable!

great get away

This was a great get away! The pictures did not do this property justice. This condo was amazing and the kids felt like they were staying in a high end hotel. The water was beautiful the entire time we were down there. The only downside was that the beach was small. If you did not get a chair and umbrella reserved then you were at the back of the beach. It was hard with a 4 year old that wanted to play with toys in the sand next to the water but due to the rules an adult can only have a chair (ours was a small folding one that touches the water) for 30 minutes at a time.... Will definitely consider coming back.

Very nice place!!

Everything went well except we received a code that did not work originally to enter property. I called and this was immediately resolved.. Beautiful place and location. Only suggestion is to get a regular couch in the living area the futon was very uncomfortable to sit on and it rained all day the last day so there was some couch sitting on that day.

Booked through Vacasa

When we arrived the door code didn't work. Called the support phone number after a 10 minute hold finally spoke with a rep. They had me try the same code 10 different times. At this point had already been in the 105° heat for 20 minutes. They said they were going to contact a local manager. After being on hold for 30 more minutes they came back on the line and said they sent a message to several people and haven't heard anything back. Put me on hold for 10 more minutes and after 1 hour was finally able to get in. When we got in the condo was dirty. Used bar of soap and half empty bottle of shampoo in the master BR shower. Toothpaste still on bathroom faucet. Trash in master BR trash can. Sliding glass door looked like it had never been cleaned. Balcony had trash on it. 2 empty bags of chips, an empty water bottle, and cherry stems all over it. The unit was ok just could use a little maintenance. Only one cable remote control, ceiling fan remote for BR didn't work.

Beautiful Condo but horrible service and impossible to contact anyone

The beach was absolutely stunning. The check in process was easy until I got to my condo unit (1502). The key code I was given did not work and when I called downstairs I was told they couldn't help me and that I should have booked directly through them. I contacted Vacasa and was put on hold for 56 minutes while waiting outside the condo with all our belongings. The only assistance I received was from someone at VRBO (Her first name was Judy) that called Vacasa on my behalf and was eventually able to reset the code. Even the code for housekeeping wasn't working to get our family inside the unit. The unit itself was very nicely decorated with a beautiful view. It is obvious that the owners have spent a great deal of money on the unit. That night, however, we found out the king bed in the room was partially broken. I emailed Vacasa through the app to only be ignored. They never even bothered to reply. I have booked through VRBO before and have never had any issues. The owners usually provide their contact information in case of any problems or questions. This is the first time that I have had issues with Vacasa which went through VRBO somehow while booking. I do not recommend that anyone book through Vacasa and I will not book anything through them again. Our family stayed June 30, 2020- July 4, 2020. We will definitely go back to Destin, but will not book through Vacasa or stay at the Pelican Beach Resort. I emailed Vacasa upon return when they sent an email asking how our family stay was but of course, they have ignored that email as well.
