Disappointed
Not as nice as pictured. The first issue was a parking permit. One wasn’t left for us and the front office was closed. There are signs all over stating you would be towed without a permit. I called the property on-call number and was told since I went through VRBO, they could help me. They said, “Hope you don’t get towed.” Luckily, I found someone walking around the property who unlocked the office and got one for me. The next issue was the tv in the master bedroom. There was only a Cox Cable remote, none for the tv itself. The tv was on the wrong input and could not be changed without the tv remote. No tv in bed for us. While looking for the remote, we opened the night stand drawer to see if it was in there and the drawer was broken. Next was the washer. If you could get it to work, it only worked on the bulky setting (great for towels, not so much for delicates. At breakfast, we had issues with the toaster. It doesn’t work. There was an ice maker in the wet bar…didn’t work. The mattress on the bed was the hardest mattress I’ve ever had. It’s an old mattress with springs and it is dead. Not one good night sleep the whole stay. The couch was very lumpy and the cushions on the back would not stay up. Like a large dog was sleeping on them. Then the fan in the master and the dinning room light both had a chain going to the wall like a trip back into the 1970s. And the floor lamp did not work.
