"We absolutely loved our stay with our groupof 12, the house checked all our boxes, except one. The listing did not clearly state there was NO AC. We didnt known this until our check in email. The first night was really hot in the house and we ended up going to the dollar store to buy extra fans (one of which we left behind for the next guests) with that being said, there was only one bedroom that did not have a ceiling fan. There are plenty of windows that created a wonderful breeze the remainder of our stay. We felt completely relaxed and off the grid. The back yard was wonderful for the kids, they swam, did paddle boards, fished, played wiffle ball and corn hole alot. One neighbor did come out and say something about the private property signs because he thought we were fishing on his side, but we were in fact only fetching a ball. We lit a fire in the fire pit and had smores, the mosquitoes got a lot worse when we did that, so it was short lived. All in all we had a great stay and if we ever ventured to Michigan again we would absolutely consider staying at this property again! "

"I thought the hotel was very nice but i was unaware there is no dining on site(you need to walk outside a bit) and the bayside dining and beach is over a mile away. That really should be noted on the description. Was expecting to walk out my door and see the beach but the pool was nice!"

"Very easy to ask questions as the host is always nearby! Also a beautiful location in a charming little rustic cabin! It was nice to unplug and get a little sunburnt. "
