Awesome stay

We loved the area; it was breathtaking and peaceful! The house was perfect for our extended family! We had so much fun with all the games and had plenty of movie nights! It was the best family vacation. The communication with the owner was absolutely fantastic! We will be back!!!

Best rental ever

My family booked Eric’s beautiful rental for a quick weekend getaway. We have rented multiple different properties throughout Minnesota over the years, and most of the group mentioned how much they loved this one. The features of the home were amazing, the location was beautiful, we enjoyed the privacy, the home fit all 13 of us, and there was always something for us to do. I also really appreciated Eric accommodating us when we asked if we could check in a bit earlier. Eric gave great instructions, and was very communicative through out our stay and assisted us with all of the questions we had. We definitely will be back. Thanks so much Eric for being such a great host.

Secluded but easy access to Grand Rapids

Spacious enough for a group of 5 to spend quiet time. The kitchen island made a great dining table, the table by the bar was to far from the kitchen. Loft was great space but the furniture was horrible (to soft). Night sky is beautiful out the kitchen windows. AC was perfect and consistent thru out. If you bring a dog make sure it is on a leash, people in the area do not use leashes. Also for bears at night. We had a great 5 days and check out Judy Garlands house with Children's Museum.

Family getaway

Our large group enjoyed being able to spread out in the spacious house. My daughter arrived before me and txt to the group “this place is massive!” She wasn’t wrong! Had every thing we could imagine we needed. If there was an issue Eric was quick to respond. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great home base for our family!!

Excellent House!

I had a reunion for all of our family. So we needed a place that is isolated for outdoor activities, large enough for 10+ adults, and close enough to accommodate golfing, fishing, and other fun things. This place was extremely quiet, property was so surrounded by trees so we didn't have to worry about noise. Will definitely rent again if we ever need to be back in that area!

Golden wedding anniversary party.

Our Stay at Hillcrest was fabulous. A large home with everything you need to have a party. Best equipped Kitchen I have ever had in a Vrbo rental. The owner of the property is a wonderful guy. I would recommend this property over everything in the whole area. Location is fabulous everything is within a 7 mile radius. Thank you for everything Eric. You have a wonderful property.

Great Multi-family home

End of August stay. Home is big with ample room for multi-family; very clean and well-stocked. We tried to figure out the sound system ( didn't really want to purchase or cancel apps) but didn't- not a big deal. Would have been nice to be able to park our ride in a garage. Trail is at end of road. One nice day trip is the Joyce estate in Chippewa National Forrest- hiking and history- good find.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Our stay included 9 adults and 2 children and the house provided plenty of space both inside and out. We spent many hours around the bonfire pit and easily enjoyed cooking and eating meals together in the large kitchen. It was a short walk, less than 10 minutes, to the beach which included access to a trail and a playground. The house was well equipped and the host, Eric, was very helpful.

Beautiful home with enough room for everyone

This home is very large and absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our large group which consisted of 4 families. The bunk room downstairs was a great option for the kids. The master suite is amazing. Communication with the host was easy, and check in was simple. The house was very clean and had the most beautiful, well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the huge fire pit and the close proximity to the park and beach. The kids loved the driveway loop for riding their bikes. We had a wonderful time and we were very happy to have this beautiful property as our home base. Would absolutely recommend!

Perfect getaway to enjoy the north woods and all the lakes!

What a beautiful home to host our group of 7. The rooms had everything to make us feel at home. The designs and the features are truly incredible. We definitely will love to come back! We explored the Tioga recreational area and swam/paddle boarded in the Iron pit almost everyday during our stay. There is a pathway to the Tioga beach at the end of the Hillcrest drive. My boys went out fishing everyday at Pokegama and caught some northern pikes. We hiked the Joyce estates trail and enjoyed the north woods. Eric is a wonderful host- he was very prompt in communicating when we reached out. He provided great tips about fishing, swimming and hiking around the area.

Cohasset get away

The facility was in excellent condition, very clean. The 4 bedrooms plus the bunk room provided plenty of space for us to spread out. Once there, it was a little way from the lake, but walkable and safe. It was also near a bike trail which I rode into Grand Rapids. The washer, wasn't working properly when I used it, and luckily the wasp nest on the swingset was not a factor when the toddlers played on it. We had planned 2 dinners on the grill, however the propane ran out after 1 and there was no spare available. I would stay here again. Left some items behind,texted the owner, never heard from the owner after we'd departed.

Fabulous

Very spacious house. Huge fridge. Loved the privacy and the easy accessibility to the public beach. Eric graciously supplied us with a few extras - garden hose, extension cords and even a toddler wagon. Perfect place for a large family

Really really nice stay

My wife, Tiffany and I were very impressed with this home. Huge, spacious. We brought our two cats, which is sometimes tough to find a place. But Eric was a great host. It snowed in April here, but we loved the peacefulness, watching tv and relaxing. Will rent here again, if given the chance, for sure. 5 stars easy. The shower, bedrooms, sound system...awesome!!
