Like most businesses they clearly short on staff. The facility was dirty but to be a little expected as its mostly young families who stay for the water park. Most staff was kind and did what they needed ti accommodate to the issues that arose. The water park staff was hit or miss. Some were super nice and helpful while there was one gal who seemed to be irritated that she had a job. Its been better but it could have been worse.

Has gone majorly downhill....
The waterpark has gone majorly downhill in the last several years. One or more of the slides were broken the whole time we were there, plus the hot tub was also broken. It was gross, dirty and slimy and garbages were overflowing and nasty. The customer service at the waterpark is absolutely atrocious. The line for the snack bar would take nearly 30 minutes every time, even longer to wait for a simple hot pretzel, chips & cheese etc, and they would also close the whole snack bar down a couple times a day when tons of people were waiting. The actual hotel rooms were incredibly warm, even though it was only about 30° outside, and all you could do was turn on a fan in the unit inside the room. We left our patio door open the entire time in 30° weather and it still was warm. The beds were rock hard and the pillows were as small as a toddler's head. The blankets they used were the equivalent of sandpaper (literally). The room appeared to be clean enough, but it's just extremely outdated. The whole resort could use a major renovation, especially the waterpark if they want to keep bringing people in for weekend. The waterpark has gone downhill so badly, it's actually sad to see as it used to be such a great place to go many years ago.

This hotel used to be a destination but has gone downhill tremendously. The waterpark wasnt fully functional, the hot tub and bucket were under repair, but honestly they should just shut the whole place down for a complete renovation. You can see dust caked on the props and rust on the equipment. Garbages were overflowing, bandaids and gum on the floor. The rooms are dated but they were clean. Beds were alright. We tried the actual hotel hot tub since the water park one was closed. BIG mistake. Walking in the pool room I was immediately grossed out by the stained and missing ceiling tiles, the FILTHY pool and floors. The hot tub was basically a warm bath and there were about 2 working jets making crazy noises. If they renovate I might consider going back, but not until then.

This hotel and waterpark is totally outdated but worse than that it’s horribly dirty. It looks like regular maintenance went out the window a long time ago. The actual rooms themselves were OK very dated, but were clean for the most part. However, the rest of the hotel was disgusting. from the carpets in the dimly lit hallways to the hotel pool to the waterpark, just absolutely gross. In addition to the lack of cleanliness of the waterpark, the worst offense was a container of muriatic acid sitting on the ledge of hot tub the was down for repairs, assessable to any kid walking by and the amount of rust everywhere you might want to make sure you’re updated on your tetanus. By the looks of the recent reviews, the ownership is content charging extra money, but not putting it back into the property. We had to pay an additional $10 per person because we booked through Hotels.com, which whatever fine, but then there was also a $5 spectator charge for anyone not swimming, just wanting to enter the park to supervise their kids. As for the staff they helped when asked, but none of them looked like they wanted to be there and their attitudes reflected it. Overall, this could be a nice place if the little things were attended to, like cleaning the waterpark, I saw the same two Band-Aids on the floor from when I checked in Saturday to when I left Sunday, and every single garbage was overflowing by Saturday night. There are better options in the area we won’t be back

We really enjoyed multiple eating options on the premises and many more options close by. We were placed in a ADA compliance room and for a couple that didn’t require those accommodations it made the stay a little less enjoyable. Had hard time finding low light switches and lack of counter space in the bathroom. Overall, though we have always enjoyed our stays at arrowwood, and will be back.

We had to pay extra to use the water park, which was frustrating, but we did. Then we get to the waterpark, and there is green slime all over the floors and walls of the lazy river. You could actually feel it when walking. The pool with the lily pads was gross. Workers cared more about being on their phones, than helping anyone. Will never stay here again.

Facility is older but certainly unique in its design. Rooms are spacious but simply have not seen an update now in what I would estimate it 15 or so years. Waterpark is fun but as evidence on the remaining leafs on the fake palm trees, it needs some major TLC. The overall resort just feels worn out and tired. The ‘free’ pool is stuck in 1980 and you likely won’t find any ‘gym-style’ towels while visiting. Both hot tubs were broken while there and wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they decide to just fill one in with concrete (actually, they’ll probably just rope it off and let it rust away). Overall you pay a premium when you pay for a room plus a resort fee plus water park admission and everywhere you look it seems as it breaks, just remove it or put a board over it. If you’re looking for a place to take kids to get out of the cold, sure, it’s fine. If you’re looking for a truly resort experience, this is not the place for the price.

I needed to cancel due to family emergency and was not allowed to even do so despite giving greater than a 1 day notice. Expedia said it was hotel decision and hotel said it was Expedia decision. Based in this I will certainly not have daughters wedding reception there as we we considering. Stay away. Has been place.

Room was dirty. Smelt like smoke. No air conditioning. Old boiler system and was already shut off for season. Room was hot and they told us to sleep with the door open. The room was great long with the hotel overall. But when we got there it looked like the room was not done being cleaned. There was a dirty towel on the ground, some sort of cleaning solution in the sink with water and water in the ice bucket. We told the front desk but no one ever came by to clean up the mess.
