Staff was nice and friendly. The smell of the hotel and room was not very pleasant; turning on the AC air helped. It was one nosiy room we stayed in. Could hear every crack and foot step from above and next door. We stayed on first floor, the parking lot lighting shined very bright through the sides of the curtain making it hard for me to stay asleep. Provided cold breakfast bar.

Location is what makes this hotel great, it’s on the beach which is wonderful! They have lawn games and hot tubs and pools were great. Rooms are not kept up and overall needed some tlc, but it’s fairly clean

For the price, we were not impressed. Although the outside areas were nice, our room was very basic. There was no room to get ready by the bathroom sink, the coffee was not good, and no free breakfast in the morning. We had to go downstairs to get coffee from the lobby, and there was no half and half, which is how I like my coffee. It also wasn’t available until 7:30am or so (we are early risers). The restaurant was overpriced, but did have a nice view of the lake. We will look for a VRBO or Airbnb next time.

The front desk staff weren't friendly; no smiles, no eye contact, rushed through telling us about amenities, didn't tell us about the nightly activities or how to attend them. I just happened to see a sign as we were exiting the lobby. The building and its decor is showing its age and could use a refresh. The room was clean except for the glass balcony door (dog paw and nose smears) and cobwebs and spiders in every window and corner of the room.

Property was good, clean comfortable. Enjoyed a relaxing evening by the fire pit out front. The restaurant was very good. I enjoyed my light dinner there. My thought is a less formal dining area with separate bar area. I didn't feel it fit the rest of the decor nor the surrounding area. It would have been nice to have a cocktail after 9pm, other than the the "sidewalks" rolling up early.
