Be prepared to WAIT for the SINGLE elevator that services the 11th floor and up. Apparently the 2nd elevator has been inoperable for a long time. It literally means adding an extra 20-30 minutes to get downstairs if the hotel is full.

The room as fine but the property has no restaurant and no food to buy except junk food in a machine. I asked workers and they sent me to a Walkgreens where there is more junk food. I found a hamburger place and a 7 11 with hot dogs. Otherwise there are white tablecloth restaurants which I was not looking for. I just wanted some decent dinner food. Also, the hotel took my credit card for incidental and food expenses which is silly since there was no incidentals or food to buy? The entrance is dreary and uncomfortable especially if you want to meet a business person.

Really beautiful hotel with nice staff. Unfortunately there were elevators issues during our stay which is inconvenient in a hotel with 40 floors. Just unfortunate timing I would happily stay here again!

Cozy stay!

Booked this place to experience Chicago's St Patrick's Day and got a room with a river view and it did not disappoint! I watched the traditional event of dyeing the river green on this occasion and I loved it! The room size was perfect for 2 people. Love that they provide complimentary water bottle filling stations in every floor I believe. Staff were great. Location unbeatable, and the price is affordable. The only hassle was that only one elevator was working during our stay, so going up and down was slow and patience was required.

You better hope you are not above the 12th floor. They only have one elevator that goes to floors 14 through 38. I did not meet a single staff member that had any customer service skills. Such a beautiful building with an incompetent hotel owner! Sincerely, a very dissatisfied customer.

Great stay BUT

2nd time staying at this hotel. Booked a 2nd stay because of location, price, and overall service. HOWEVER, on our 1st stay (2023) they had issues with the elevators. So we waited sometimes 15-20 mins just for the elevator to get to lobby and/or to go up to our floor. Only one elevator available for a 40 floor building. Even though it was a big inconvenience, we know things happen and are very understanding people so we made the best of it. On our 2nd stay (2025) the first thing we noticed after checking in was that elevator was down. Our whole stay was the same situation. I’m not sure what’s going on with the building or why they are unable to fix this issue. Everything else is great and appreciate the staff and service. No complains anywhere else.
