"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We knew we would be very busy on our trip, so we were looking for an affordable place to sleep. This place was perfect! For the price, I was expecting mediocre. But wow! It was SO CLEAN. When we walked in, it smelled like it was freshly cleaned with bleach (my favorite smell when walking into a hotel room) and everything was spotless. While the rooms are ‘outdated’ as some other reviews say, for the price, they were in better condition than I expected and more updated than expected. The front desk staff were very kind and check in and out was simple and quick. There is onsite laundry ($4.50 to run a load and $4.50 to dry the load), a pool, ice machine and vending machines. Breakfast is included but is very simple— muffins, toast, bagels, etc. This was perfect for us but I know some reviews had mentioned the breakfast as a shortfall. We only ate breakfast on our last day (easy to take on the road), as we ate at local places with friends on the other mornings. Ultimately, I was so impressed with this hotel and will absolutely stay here again the next time we come to St. Augustine! It was truly the best value hotel I have ever stayed at. "
