Elevator locked up on us twice. They advertise as a full breakfast but it’s more of a basic continental breakfast. But the main reason I would not stay here again was the people. Very very rude when they checked me in. They act like it’s a pain to answer simple questions. And phone in the room didn’t work at all.

The room had an awful smell. I definitely could not bring myself to eat the breakfast. I really don't have much positive input. I would highly recommend staying somewhere with better reviews!

The property was in good condition for the closeness to the beach. Check in was fast and uneventful. The only complaint was the dogs barking late night. The property is a pet friendly property and it seems the guest with pets and without are all put in the same section of the hotel.

The floor was greasy. The walls, ceiling, and shower grout had visible mold. The baseboards were filthy, especially in the corners. There were long cracks in the walls as well as obvious water/moisture damage to the room. The lamps/shades were visible dusty. Would not recommend staying here.

Room was not clean. Moisture in the air. Mold on the wall, lamp shade, and in bathroom. Dirty socks under the bed. Candy wrappers in the drawer. Door to the bathroom stuck almost trapping us inside. Floor was filthy, turning our clean feet black!

I’m from the generation that only wants to sleep in a bed for the night, not make a mortgage payment for the hotel. In this respect the Quality Inn in St. Augustine beach is great. It is very affordable. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and it was quiet. However, the later may be more related to a Tuesday to Saturday stay as the lot was pretty empty until late Friday. The breakfast was OK and the staff was polite, respectful, and responsive. The owners have done a respectable job of trying to modernize but, it is still an old structure with rust & corrosion on things like the bathroom door handle trim and around the bottom of the door frames. The water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired and the shower valve was a little funky. Would I stay again? Might not be my first choice but I would probably consider it if the alternatives were $125 + per night.

Location close to beaches and Anastasia park. Beautiful beach access boardwalk basically across the street. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Reasonable price, no complaints.
