"This place was amazing for its views and location. With that being said, it is quite a way from the main roads so expect to drive at least 10 minutes to get from the cabin to a road. The cabin was clean, but we did find hair in the bathroom which is not a huge deal, but still kind of gross. In the description, it shows a play area, but you have to drive to a different location to be able to use that play area so essentially you don’t really have much room for the kids to play. And, I will add that to the pool is only open seasonally, and that two is a drive to get to. With all that being said, I would definitely go back just for the view!"

Camp Sherman Riverfront Getaway

"What a wonderful place!! The setting is sublime and the stars at night will blow your mind (if you live in a city especially). The deck at the back of the house overlooks the lawn and the river beyond. It's a comfortable house and though there were only 2 of us it could easily accomodate more people. (We just stayed on the first floor, but up above there's another bathroom, two bedrooms and an area with a trundle bed. Hiking couldn't be easier since there are trails along the river on both sides as well as through the woods. Though the check-in process was a bit unclear (VRBO's fault from an email) it was resolved because Kaitlin was quick to respond and we soon had access to the house. The Metolious River is absolutely spectacular...crystal clear with many fish for catch & release fly fishing only. I highly recommend this location."
