Night Hotel Broadway
"The room was swept, and the beds were clean, unlike many other reviews. That's the only good thing I can say. One elevator was broken so the wait time to go to the lobby reached 8 minutes during busy times (night/mornings). Our bathroom had a broken section out of the vanity, and the shower continuously switched back to running bath water. The blind was broken and wouldn't roll down. The TV didn't work, and the staff offered no recourse for fixing it. There also isn't daily housekeeping. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, with industry right beside the hotel. It's on a busy highway, so even though the water is right across the street, you can't get there without crossing 8 lanes of heavy traffic. Breakfast was available, but substandard. Considering prices of other hotels in New Haven, I still think it was worth it, but as my husband pointed out, you absolutely get what you pay for."
