Don’t stay here. Absolutely disgusting. From the front desk to the wallls to the room key not working and it being scorching hot in the hallways. Wouldn’t eat a thing from anything in there. Bathroom drop ceiling above the showers completely falling literally dropping from above our heads. Huge rip off

The rooms could be cleaner but I found dust and in my first room there was cockroach. Sofas were dirty and too old I couldn’t sit on the sofa and rest. Coffe maker was broken and didn’t work. But in general it was not bad and staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointing

The people working there were wonderful and trying their best but the building is falling apart and the cleaning crew needs to be trained again. Our first room had vomit and blood all over it. We were swiftly moved. New room looked fine and had a beautiful view of the city. When we started taking showers, water started pouring out of the ceiling. We dried it as much as possible, let them know and went to bed. At midnight the waterfall started again and by 2:45am I had to go down to let them know that it won't stop. Nothing could be done so had to go back to room. The staff did give us a refund and apologized profusely. Upper management needs to take care of the building better. I do not recommend this place until they fix the problems. I will say that it is close to restaurants and shopping so you can park at the hotel and walk.

Was a great experience, hotel was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Helped us navigate how to get to and from New York City on public transportation. Hotel was pretty close to NYC and helped us save money.

Besides blood stains on the sheets. The ac did not work neither The mini refrigerator. When we asked to for them to check the ac they said they were not going to go in because of the dnd sign. I requested a refund from the locations and we are still waiting on that.

This hotel may show signs of age, but it’s still in a good shape. It offers outstanding value for the price — especially considering its location. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and it takes only about 25 minutes to get to the heart of New York City. For anyone looking to save money while visiting NYC, this is a great choice. The rooms are clean, with fresh linens and all the basics you need — soap, shampoo, towels. There’s even a pool, which was full of happy kids during our stay. Breakfast is included, and it was surprisingly tasty and satisfying. Most importantly, the staff is very kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need.

The front desk was fantastic. They were super helpful, kind and friendly. In particular we had a great encounter with front desk clerk, Joe. He was super professional and an overall great vibe. Unfortunately as for the room, it was just OK and that’s me being nice. We stayed here in 2021 and the rooms were bright, modern and overall comfortable. This time around the room was outdated. The rugs had red paint stains. The tub was dirty looking and the faucets are peeling. The blue couch had a rip in it. Just overall run down room. But you get what you pay for so if cheap is what your looking for, close to nyc and many close by restaurants and shops then I guess this is good. We stayed here before for about a month in 2021 for a renovation in our home and this time we stayed for 2 days because we sold our home and needed a couple days before the move to another state. I hope Wyndham renovates the hotel.

The hotel location was great. We were four minutes away from American dream which was our reason for traveling to New Jersey. There was free parking. There are only a few parking spots next to the entrance but the parking garage right next door is free for guests. They had continental breakfast which was not that great in our opinion. The waffles tasted like they were microwaved and the eggs were watery. You can’t take food back to the room so if part of your group sleeps late they can’t have breakfast. I found this strange because they offer free breakfast for guests but only if you eat inside the dining room. I guess they want to make sure you don’t take too much or feed people who aren’t staying at the hotel. The rooms are decent. We had two double beds and a pull out couch so plenty of space. However, we got there during a heat wave and the AC was not working. I heard multiple other people complain about issues with the AC and there really was no useful fix. They said they would send someone to check and maybe they did but it never ended up working. The hotel seems to be a bit run down. Our blankets seemed dingy but luckily we brought our own. There was a strange smell in the hotel but nothing to bothersome. Having an indoor pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it. The front desk staff were very nice. The main perks of the hotel were price and location.

I’m not usually picky about hotels, but this is the first time I feel compelled to leave a 1 star negative review. For the price we paid, the experience was disappointing. The bus to NYC stops right in front, which is convenient. Rooms are spacious and partially soundproof, but hallway noise is constant and traffic noise kicks in after 2 AM. Avoid if you are a light sleeper. The front door looked dirty and weak—you could probably kick it open. The AC in our room didn’t work and wasn’t fixed until two days later, only after asking several times. The room smelled like dust and moisture. Linens and towels had a light yellow tan. The bathroom had rust, dirty walls, a worn-out dirty tub, and motel-style plumbing. The teamaker barely worked, and condiments were either missing or almost nonexistent. Internet was terrible after 3pm . Housekeeping never came in 6 days—we had to go to the front desk for everything: soap, toilet paper, towels—and even then, they were often out. One staff member said they had no soap. What they did provide was a joke: soap that size would last a person about 2 days—and shampoo barely enough for one use. If you need more, you have to ask, but don’t count on it. The breakfast buffet looked promising but offered half-cooked eggs and sausages, cheap cereal... same menu every day. By day two, I skipped it to avoid getting sick. This hotel clearly isn’t meant for return guests. I won’t be back, and neither will anyone else I spoke to during my stay.

Outdated, old. Check in at 3:30, got into our room after more than 30mins - changing keys multiple times from 3rd for to the lobby. Need to change our keys multiple times because it wasn’t working. Our sofa was old and the foam exposing 1/4 of the sofa wooden frame. When we had our breakfast no water in the jug and no complimentary water as well, with the rates for a family room would be nice to at least have a complimentary water. The elevator almost fell kinda feeling when we rode it with the staff who have a key for the elevator. She as well got scared and transferred to the other elevator worrying the other one will malfunction.

Old hotel, in need of many updates. Our room had a broken door, ceiling tiles in bathroom were broken. A/C not working well. Damp musty smell throughout. Breakfast was lacking, no fruit or yogurt available. Eggs were tasteless. We wanted to take a single piece of pastry back to the room and we were stopped, told no food out of dining area. Ice machine was accessible only from front desk. Asked 3 times for towels and pillows before finally picking them up from the front desk. Never did receive the pool towels I had requested. Would not recommend.

Breakfast was awful ..microwVed waffles that were so dry and hard .eggs were watery and only 1 brand of cereal generic .just gross.no sheets or blankets or pillows for the pull out bed no towels for swimming pool no lotion or shampoo only some nasty bar soap .hallways were filthy and was afraid to walk without my shoes on .just an awful disgusting hotel

We had a terrible experience during our stay last week. Rooms are very old and dated with old loud air conditioning devices. Housekeeping only cleaned our room once in 6 days! Even after asking the front desk every single day to have our room cleaned! The one time the room was cleaned we were left with only two shower towels for five people! I've asked the front desk multiple times to have enough towels for the number of people in our reservation but they never had shower towels available (only small hand towels). Breakfast had the same 3 options every single day. The only good thing was the friendly staff. Don't recommend this place at all!

Stayed here with a family of 5 for 2 nights. Location was convenient to visit New York attractions but everything else was a let down. Property was very old , room doors, bathroom sink, shower tub - everything were old, worn out and many were complaining about their rooms at the front desk. Wouldn’t stay here again.
