The property is beautiful. The housekeeping not so great. After the room was supposed to be cleaned; New towels were placed over old towels that were not removed. Used cups and glasses not replaced. Phone and base of lamp had a nice layer of dusk. Bring your swifter duster and Lysol wipes. The property and surrounding attractions are an absolute delightful getaway from the city.

Indoor -outdoor pool was awesome! However, hot tub and exterior in pool area are in need of repair.

Cottage 1304 was not "Clean & fresh" as expected. Moved some items and apparent not been cleaned in 6 months.... So, how do we know the proper sanitizers been current? Didn't see Hand sanitizer wipes in Cottage. Realize that the Winter White Christmas created some challenges the Christmas Day.... But, expected more from this special place. We come 2x year with Family for Holiday Dinners/Buffets. But, 1st time to stay for lodging.

Not impressed

I have been to this resort a few times for other gatherings that didn't require an overnight stay. Beautiful views from main lodge reception area which includes huge rock fireplace and many observing couches/rockers to view the mountains. My husband and I decided to go for a small overnight trip and was surprised at the overall experience. Upon check in, they had placed us in a cottage-that was shared by a few people so parking was limited. We walked up to the cottage only to find the housekeeping gentleman watching tv and relaxing in the main chair. This was not our room but was unprofessional to see. Asked which room was 1801 and he led us to the wrong room. We had to ask twice-both times he was apparently in break. After the many steps finally leading to it, we had no view at all. The adjoining door was just an interior door with a quite large gap under it and the exterior entry light was burned out so returning that night required the flashlight that was kept it our vehicle. One of our keys did not work - we could have driven back to the main lodge and I am sure they would have issued another one. One last thing I have to share, the sink still had facial hair from the previous person. With that being said, I must say that the bed was clean along with the green carpet. I would stay at the lodge but not the cottages.

Great View

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
From the moment we walked in the door.We felt like old friends.The bellman greeted us and directed us to the front desk.The front desk person was friendly and checked us in quickly.the bellman helped us with our luggage.The room had a good view,The view from the lobby's back porch was breath taking.The Seafood buffet was fab. The lunch at brassies was very good.The 2 hr trail ride was very enjoyable beautiful trails.
