"Everybody is accomodating"

Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya - All Inclusive
"My husband and I have stayed here 3 times now. We’ve enjoyed it every time. We were just there for our babymoon in July. We also went last September and our first time was in October 2021. I will say I prefer the beach in Fall, there is far less sargassum and it’s easier for the hotel to keep the beach clean. They only cleaned the beach one time while we were there for a whole week in July. Whereas in September/October, they cleaned it nearly every other day. We still enjoyed time on the beach, the staff come around offering drinks and water while you’re relaxing on the beach. The resort is clean and modern, the pools are nice but busy. If you don’t save a spot in the loungers early, you won’t find one. They really hurt themselves by adding the “Elite Club” exclusive pool. There was never anyone there and the main pools were overcrowded. I love the variety of activities they have during the day and the evening shows are fun too. The food is really good, of course some things are hit or miss but overall we always found something we liked. If you’re really picky, you might not love the food. We visit the Riviera Maya/Playa Del Carmen area every other year, and we will always come back here. We can’t wait to bring our baby boy with us next time."
