Book a hotel near Xaman Ha Aviary, Playacar

"With it being in a gated community, felt very safe staying there, helpful and professional staff available 24-7. Found delicious meal options at every a la carte, and did not have a single bad meal the entire 11 days/10 nights I was there. Room 3089 was well-appointed, comfortable, and there were elevators at this property even though the details I read said there was not. Loved the coffee bar, open til midnight, located just off the lobby and across from the Daiquiri bar. Housekeeping staff always ensured room was clean and comfortable, and fridge and in room bar were well stocked. Room service 24-h and very prompt, with a limited menu but it even had vegetarian options on it. Some sargassum on beach but was tidied up daily (and it’s nature, don’t let that discourage you from a great experience at this 1 of 5 RIU properties in Playacar). Groundskeepers kept the property beautiful, and maintenance and housekeeping make the resort literally shine. Didn’t spend much time at the pool or beach, due to needing to stay out of sun/heat. Special shout out to Angel & Salazar at the Capuchino coffee bar; Luis and Claudia at Daiquiri; Augustina at Il Portico; too many wonderful staff to name, who work hard to make your experience a wonderful one. Cannot wait to return!"

"Our first trip wasn't such great in October 2024, but we decided to give it the second chance May 2025. Everything was great. Little one, 7 years, fall in love with local animals, kids club, evening entertainments a specially for kids at 20:30 and the Xcaret park. I wish they had some fountains or some water splash on the hotel premises for kids. Oh, and what is the specially doesn't make any sense for me is beach shower. Before to leave the beach you want wash your feet out of sand, but the shower is standing surrounded by sand and you need to walk sandy steps 🤔... So the other option is to invade Royals area to wash you feet or walk all the way to the natural adults only pool. Otherwise, food was great all the time with great choices. One more thing to mention. If by some reason you need to by anything in the pharmacy, that you can find on the way to main buffet, they always will try to sell you most expensive thing first. At the same time, they have cheaper options of the same products, but offered only if they seeing that you're ready to leave without anything. "

"Our family vacation to Playacar Palace was incredible! We had such an amazing time and the staff went above and beyond! The facility was amazing, the staff were wonderful, the food and drinks were extremely high quality, we were super impressed! This was our first time at a Palace Resort and we are now looking into booking at another Palace Resort because of our experience. We LOVED this resort so much!! Can't wait to go back!!"

"We had the most incredible week at the Villa Pearl. The house is modern, clean and very spacious. Our group of 9 best friends spent majority of our time by the pool. It's a great size and was cleaned daily by pool staff very early in the morning. Each room is a good size and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped so we cooked a lot. The BBQ was also really clean & good for grilling. The concierge Mauricio was so friendly and his response time was so quick, usually responding in seconds. He had our fridge stocked for our arrival and provided great suggestions for restaurants, beach clubs and organised a private van rental for us. Incredible!!! The cleaning staff were top notch as well. Their daily visits left us feeling very fortunate and taken care of! The location is amazing - totally walkable to Playa but cabs are easy & cheap to go back & forth if it's too hot. I cannot say enough good things about Villa Pearl. We all said we would love to go back. Thank you for a very memorable week!"
