"What a fantastic stay! This historic hotel is truly like stepping back in time, with so much of its original character and charm still beautifully preserved. Even arriving by car and stepping out in the lower-level valet area felt like entering another era. The service was absolutely amazing. Kelly (I think that was his name), the concierge and bellhop, was the highlight of our stay. His knowledge of the hotel’s history, along with his wonderful recommendations made our experience even more special. We also had a fantastic meal at the 1931 restaurant. Nehamiah, our waiter, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu and incredibly attentive. We were equally impressed with the bartenders and their excellent service. The rooms reflect the typical 1930s style. Smaller by today’s standards, but perfectly adequate, comfortable, and full of historic charm. We truly cannot rave about this place enough. If you appreciate history, old-world charm, exceptional service, and the feeling of stepping into another time, this hotel is an absolute gem. We loved our stay and would happily return!"
