Room was pretty decent. Lost electricity for a few hrs in the lodge and dining area through no fault of their own. Dining lodge was kind of pricey and food was ok. Few food options because of power outage but power eventually was restored.

AMAZING! We stayed in the north side, of maswik lodge to be closer to the canyon (older buildings)and we were pleased to find that they refreshed the rooms on this side as well. New light wood furnitures like the south side/new buildings. New lighter pain all over which feels newer and cleaner. The bathroom is still original but totally functional. We stayed 2 nights, our family had two rooms, and we were very satisfied with what we paid for considering we are steps away from the Grand Canyon and the bus that takes you to Hermit point and other points for the best sunset in the park!! AC is working great, fan in the room was appreciated during the hot summer. The rooms have a fridge, super convenient to keep our breakfast and other food items. No microwave. The only microwave is at the market near the campground. We were able to reheat leftovers from previous restaurants no problem. Highly recommend if you want to be near the Grand Canyon in comfy accommodation
