"Location was fabulous, right on the beach and we enjoyed watching the sunsets each night. We felt like we were in Florida. Staff was accomadating, pool area was excellent. We liked that breakfast each morning was delivered to our room and we were not locked into a set time to get down to eat. Balcony ..."

Park Place Hotel
"The hotel needs maintenance; our room had a peeling bathtub for example. The lobby is dated, the elevator to the rooftop bar was broken. Convenient location to downtown and the free parking was nice."

Seasons Inn Traverse City
"When I arrived, the woman who checked me in was INCREDIBLE. She legitimately gave a master class in hospitality. Friendly, funny, informative, and fast! She had me checked in and ready to go in no time and was truly awesome. During check-in, I mentioned that I might need to extend my stay an extra night. She assured me it wouldn't be an issue and told me to just let them know the next day. I had a great night's sleep and, sure enough, ended up needing to stay another night, so I made my way down to the front desk. Unfortunately, the woman from the previous evening had been replaced by a gentleman who seemed to have absolutely no idea what was going on. Suddenly, extending my stay was apparently something only a manager could handle, which was especially confusing considering rooms were still available. I didn't have the luxury of waiting "a few hours" for a manager to arrive because I was in town on business. So instead, I packed up all my stuff first thing in the morning, checked out, and gave my money to a hotel literally across the street. Besides that very confusing (and frustrating) interaction, it's a very nice hotel. But respectfully, you're only as strong as your weakest link. If you can get everyone on the level of the young woman who checked me in, you've got something pretty special here. She was phenomenal and deserves some recognition."
