"Definitely read the fine print about the pet fees. When booking, I didn't see the $100 non refundable pet fee, OR the $25 I would have to pay for off-site parking. Plus the $200 refundable deposit, my last minute, affordable getaway got expensive quickly. This is an older motel that has been updated-rooms were clean, but fairly small. Overnight was doable for our gamily of 4 and a dog, but longer would've been pretty tight. Right on the boardwalk, which is great if you want to be right in the middle of things, but hourly announcements on the boardwalk, as well as noise from the rides won't be a good fit for some families. While we were also grateful for well lit walkways, having a security light outside our window, even with window blacking curtains, made for a bright light in our room all night. Finally, the walls are very thin, we could hear our neighbors coughing and using the bathroom at night, which sometimes caused our dog to bark. We didn't sleep much but enjoyed the close proximity to the beach in the off season, it would be too busy for us if we were there in peak season, and without reserved parking, any breakfast options and nowhere for dogs to use the bathroom, along with high fees, we wouldn't choose this particular hotel again."

"Great location. I didn't have soap or conditioner in the room- but when I asked the front desk, they gave me a bar. The tv was small- it's OK though. I'm very glad that rooms were clean. The pool was nice. I had a great time and would like to go again every year again before Memorial Day to get the better price and rent a tricycle that you can ride on the boardwalk all day long (before the holiday). Overall, I had a good experience, and no bugs like that one bad review said. ;)"

"This hotel was dated and the staff was not friendly. We stayed on a wash out of a weekend. One would think the staff would be extra helpful and hospitable given the fact that it was empty and we still came. There are no security features. Anyone can get on any elevator and go right into the guests halls. The hotel charges for everything. ..water, extra people in the room. Definitely not worth the price they charge. I would not stay here again."
