My wife and I recently stayed at the Cape Cottage Inn for a birthday weekend getaway, and it was an experience we will never forget. We absolutely cherished our stay in the cottage. It was serene and private, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The convenient location near the highway offered easy access to all the attractions of Cape May, including the bustling Washington Street Mall. We were beyond impressed with the accommodations and ambiance. The cottage was charmingly decorated and spotlessly clean, offering both comfort and privacy. We were particularly grateful for the quiet surroundings, which allowed us to truly relax and unwind. Our stay was further enhanced by the convenient location. Just a short drive away, we found ourselves immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Cape May, with its numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions. The easy access to the highway made day trips and exploring the area a breeze. Overall, our stay at the Cape Cottage Inn exceeded our expectations. It provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and romantic birthday getaway. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will be returning for future visits.

I was very unhappy with my reservation. I reserved my room through Expedia. The website showed "cabins" with a sofa and small kitchen. No where on the Expedia website did it say you might get a small room in a motel. I reserved two cabins. We were given motel rooms on a second floor with only stair access. I am not able to easily navigate stairs, so this was a problem. There were no other rooms available when we arrived, so upgrading or changing rooms was not an option. The property appeared to be newly renovated, so everything felt new and therefore, clean. However, the room was not comfortable. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There was not even a chair to sit in in the room. You could sit on the bed or a small, very low bench at a vanity table. The room had no coffee maker and there was nothing open at the facility. The staff left at 5pm, closing the office, so no one was available to answer questions or assist if needed. I would not stay at this location again.

The cape cottage inn was great! The cottage we stayed in was adorable. Everything was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. We will definitely be back again.
