The heated pool is exceptional. The property is deceiving from the front. The rooms are clean and pretty. They have cottages on the rear of the property and a beautiful pool with some grills av!ailable and table with benches--so cute. Oh and the beds are comfy.

The beach aesthetic of the room was really nice. Room was clean but was lacking in some ways. Example…no coffee maker. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a hotel that didn’t have one. There were only 2 towels for my family of 4 (that included 2 women). I called the front desk for more and they only brought me 2 additional towels. In my experience, there are usually 2 towels provided PER GUEST. Not a deal breaker but inconvenient. Especially when paying close to $400 a night. Here’s my biggest complaint…the lack of electrical outlets for plugging things in like phone chargers. There was literally half of one accessible outlet in the whole room! It was in between the 2 beds and 1 of the ports has the lamp plugged into it. So if you wanted to use both ports you have to unplug the lamp. And if you slept on the far end of either bed you have no outlet for charging your phone at night. They had a beautiful vanity with a big mirror but no outlet. Which is very inconvenient if you have multiple people getting ready to go out for the night. My suggestion for the hotel is to add some more outlets, a Keurig machine for each room (they are so cheap now) a vending machine on property for basics like water and snacks and don’t be so tight with the towels. It’s a cute property that is clean and comfortable and I would stay there again but some minor changes would go a long way.

Overall our stay here was okay. The area felt safe and we were comfortable sleeping, but there were several things about our stay that were annoying and inconvenient. First, the front door was nearly impossible to open once the code was put in and needed to be slammed shut in order to be locked. My mother couldn’t even open the door at all it stuck and required a decent amount of force to even budge it often requiring mutiple attempts to open the door. The toilet seat in our room wasnt attached on one side so when being used it would slide and was uncomfortable/jarring feeling like you were going to fall off. The floor was also very dirty and there was no maid service for us during our stay. Not super close to the attractions to walk, everything was easily reached by car but if you’re looking to not have to drive much and pay for parking this is not the place for you. Overall it was okay, but we will not stay here again.

We needed a room quickly since our other booking failed. It was clean, quiet, bed and bathrooms were great. Location is within city limits. Staff was accommodating. No problems parking and price was great compared to surrounding areas. I would use again. No hassles at all

Hotel needs Major Updates

When we arrived they didn’t even know that we were coming even though I booked last September 2024. We had to switch rooms instantly because the door was broken, air not working and room smelled like mold. Property had no management or person available after 5 PM. We checked out on Saturday at 8 am and no one was there. Literally place had nowhere to charge phones or iPad. Room did not have coffee machine or a box of tissues. Every door in every room we stayed needed to be repaired because there were air gaps and flies and mosquitoes were entering the room. Rooms need major updates and repairs. I felt like I was in a college dorm room. The web sight is misleading. We thought we were getting a cottage and got an old outdated hotel room. Vacationers beware of this property.

The room was nice and what we expected. Bed and linens were comfortable. There was a rack to hang clothes and a desk to put toiletries on. Front desk staff were amazing. Pool was beautiful and well kept It was not anything special for the price we paid but Tis the season. We did not complain because felt not worth it from what we read in other reviews….but Soap dispenser had dried toothpaste on it, bath mat had dirt stains, had to put code in twice for door to open every time, very few outlets. Back window not covered and let in a lot of light in morning and front curtains barely covered windows. Old water bottle under bed. We would not stay in the motel part again but would look into staying at the Ocean Estates as most of the good reviews seem to be from that part of hotel that we learned are same owners.
