"Hotel was cute and as advertised, queen deluxe room was spacious and had an amazing soaking tub but some of the remodeling details of the suite are subpar. Minimal issues such as gaps in the entry door allowing light and sound from main hall, awkward bathroom layout, dirty exterior windows. We came during off/mud season so this may be why but staffing was super limited, bar closed early at 9 on a Saturday, breakfast was very limited (bagels and mini quiche), offered no drinks other than water/coffee and unattended to the point we had to alert staff an outlet circuit went out and food was cold / toaster not working. Common areas atmosphere was great and would have been a bonus if staying longer than one night. "

"The kitchen is wonderful for cooking a family meal or quick breakfast. If you have mobility issues, the downstairs front bedroom is the best choice. It has plenty of room around the bed and a zero entry shower. The other downstairs bedroom has a bathtub. The rooms upstairs are wonderful, as well. However, the stairs are a challenge for older folks. The location is central to the town of Stowe. We had a great time exploring Vermont! The hosts are friendly and helpful! We would love to come back."
