Room was very simple, but clean and quiet. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained, and greatly appreciated after a day skiing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for skiing, dining, and shopping.

the owners , are true owners they care about there place. its spotless. they put their soul into it. others could learn from there model. the previous year we stayed the room needed updating. but this year it was perfect. the beds were so nice. the only thing it would have been nice to have a microwave. they have one but its next to dining room. i wanted to heat my coffee and muffin which was quite a walk

This place is awesome! Staff is super kind, and rooms are clean. It also has everything you need - a really cool pool and hot tub, game room, and laundry. Also very close to the mountain, and across the street from the shuttle stop. The included breakfast is also great, what a nice treat. Highly recommend!

Truly a Vermont lodge. Owners were awesome. Made everything so easy. Breakfast hit the spot before a big day on the mountain. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a ski lodge feel and Vermont friendliness!

The northern lights lodge was the perfect place to come back and rest after exploring Stowe. The daily breakfasts were very tasty and filling before we’d go out to hike or sightsee. The amenities are nice too. Really appreciated the hot tub and sauna after a cold, rainy hike.

We enjoyed the individual breakfast orders. We have never seen a free breakfast served this way. The pool and hot spa were very nice too. The motel was clean and nice, but the grounds could use a little TLC. The staff were also very nice and accommodating.

Breakfast was prepared fresh daily with multiple options. The location is just far enough removed from the downtown craziness but walkable to the local hiking path. The area around the hotel is beautiful and the staff/owners were wonderful. The room was clean, lighting was great and the shower was wonderful. We strongly recommend Northern Light Motel.
