"This Marriott was the absolute worst I’ve ever stayed at. My boyfriend and I stayed there for one night and left the next day although we were supposed to stay one more night. We ended up finding a bed bug on the curtains. Immediately recorded it and also took photos. I proceed to go downstairs and alert the front desk and they weren’t really trying to do anything, besides possibly give me another room. Let me add, they also lied to me and said they couldn’t process a refund when I requested one because I booked through a third-party, which I later found out was false. The Marriott was who charged me. I paid with my visa once I got to the hotel. Anyways, they try to give me another room on a lower floor but at that point my boyfriend wasn’t comfortable staying there anymore so we packed our things. Before I left I tried to talk to the woman at the front desk and she honestly didn’t help me any further. Then I proceeded to call Travelocity (which is who I booked through) and Travelocity calls them (The Marriott) and come to find out, they did find a bug in my room and were calling someone to come and remove it. The woman I spoke to on the phone with from Travelocity told me she’d give them a call again on Monday to inquire about refunding me for the other night. I was charged for both. I ended up never getting a refund and was charged for two nights when I only stayed there one. I called back to speak to the manager as well and was sent to her voicemail. No one called me back."
