"First the positives... parking fine, location good, ice machine, nice table and vanity, great tub with hand grip, decent bed, good TV, microwave, fridge with small freezer on top, and an iron. Breakfast included cereal, waffles, raisin bread, juices, and fruit. The staff was very cordial and helpful. The reasons I took off a star and also another star are the following. 1) I tried 2 rooms that were listed as non-smoking but the smell of smoke hit me as I walked through the doors. The place still has smoking rooms and clearly in the past smoking has been pervasive in all the rooms and may still shift to the non-smoking rooms in a pinch. The staff loaned me some air freshener and I used it on the second room to make it tolerable. 2) the A/C was loud in normal mode and only if you put it in "E-Save" I think it was could I reduce the noise of the compressor."

"Parking was adequate. The staff was cordial. We were self sufficient, so not much need for assistance. We were in room 126. Leading to the room the hallway carpet was absolutely disgusting! It was soiled and very visible with debris. Then we enter the room. Seems nice enough. NOT!! I laid my phone down on a table and I felt something sticky. I immediately went to the bathroom and got a hand towel. I wiped the furniture down. What came off looked like poop. I left the “soiled” hand towel on the side of the bathtub. We for sure didn’t take our shoes off or take a shower. This place deserves much less than a 3.5. Shame on me for not researching better. However, this location, Greensboro Coliseum, does not uphold the Best Western reputation!!! I would only recommend this location - well not to anyone."

"This hotel is huge and can be a bit overwhelming when you go in, but there is plenty of staff there to help! The staff is excellent!!! We felt safe while there because there’s always someone walking around checking on things. The room was nice, not big but plenty of room for us. (Husband, teen, and myself). This is our second time staying here, it’s our go to for when in Greensboro."
