"They were ready for me"
We had such a great experience. We checked in early and the room was ready. Great room with a view. Concierge was helpful. The staff was great and they brought up a special dessert to the room for my Wife's birthday. TV in the bathroom mirror. How cool is that?

"Resort Destination Hotel in Bellevue, WA"
We chose the Hotel Bellevue because it is coupled with a truly top tier athletic club. We were visiting friends in Bellevue, so we were not exploring local museums and sightseeing. Had that been our focus we would have stayed in Seattle as the hotel is 25 minutes from the City. That said, the rooms are over-sized and very well-furnished - lots of wood and marble. Ours on the fourth and top floor had a small balcony that overlooked the courtyard. The tile and marble bathroom is large with both tub and shower with a fully enclosed WC. The Club has an excellent business center & library as well as an Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, full basketball court, at leas two restaurants. Club members come from the affluent surrounding neighborhood and the club meets their very high expectations. Landscaping is mature and extensive - we missed the entry on our first attempt as Google maps left us at the edge of a very mature hedge with few penetrations. I would recommend the top floor as reception and meeting facility can be busy both day and night (weddings).

"Beautiful, modern hotel in the heart of downtown"
Our stay at the Hyatt Olive 8 was top notch. We flew in on a red-eye from Anchorage so arrived at the hotel around 7:30 am. We asked the front desk if they could store our luggage until check-in at 4:00, but as a room was available we were invited to check in right away. So unexpected and appreciated!! We stayed in a business room, and one of the extras is a credit toward breakfast every morning. With the high WA tax and gratuity already added, we easily used the breakfast credit each day. Our king sized bed was quite comfortable, and though all the pillows were feather there were various levels of firmness to suit us. The only downside is that the hotel is adjacent to another high-rise that must be 30-40 feet away, and our room faced this building. Fortunately we could still see the beautiful city off to the right while standing at the window. The location was perfect. We were in Seattle for shopping and tourist outings, and as the hotel is located on 8th between Olive and Pine (one block from Pike) there were many stores and restaurants within several blocks. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory twice and loved the Wild Ginger (Thai) and the Dragonfish (sushi). And coffee shops everywhere! If you are from out of state, be sure to tell this to cashiers when checking out at retail stores. Most will not charge you their state tax if you ask about it and present your driver's license. It saved us quite a bit on the clothes our daughter purchased.

"Great location, beautifully decorated modern&clean"
Good stay overall. Very comfortable bed. Hotel has many outlets and ports if you're traveling wit) computers etc. They have thought of many conveniences including a yoga mat, snacks and drinks, wide array of movies etc. front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had an issue during our stay where there was a distinct chemical odor from some repairs that had taken place. Our room, hallway, and elevator all had odor. However, manager was wonderful and made things right for us By giving us some meaningful concessions. We left feeling good about our stay despite the inconvenience. Would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and hope to return!
