"A classic gem and great location"
My wife and I love old hotels and the Mayflower is a wonderful example in Seattle. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out everything was perfect. The hotel is very well kept and in pristine condition, the staff could not be more helpful. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect-4-5 blocks from the Pike Place Market and right next to the Monorail which goes to the Space Needle complex. We live about an hour north of Seattle and will be staying here on future trips to the city.

"If You're Into the Market"
Can't beat the location if you are into the market scene. Rooms are clean and the whole hotel is somewhat minimalist. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Comfortable bed and linens. Street noise was not a problem. I wouldn't splurge for a room with a view since the best view and the best thing about the hotel is the deck on the 5th floor. You can see the market, the mountains, the ferris wheel, the Sound and Mt. Rainier. The stairwells smelled a little funky. A coat of paint might help, but that was our only complaint. Not a place for kids or families.

"Executive Hotel Mattress Review:"
This hotel's mattresses are extremely soft and sagging --horrible for most of us that require mattress support. After 2 nights, I could hardly walk and slept on the floor to avoid a trip to the ER. Any room reservation should include a bottle of Aleve. I was in pain for my flight back to the East Coast. After just one night back on a normal mattress, I'm walking again.

"2nd time here. Two thumbs up "
This is our second trip to Seattle in less than two months. We usually like to change things up but our last two getaways have been up here for seahawks games (go hawks!!!) and my wife & I are falling in love w this city... The people, the food, city vibes... all amazing. Our motif experience was no different than our first. Everything top notch. When we return to Seattle in the near future there's no question where we'll be staying at. The motif offers exceptional service, clean rooms & comfy beds, and it is so central to all the things we love to do when we're up in emerald city.

"Great location, allergy safe 9th floor."
I chose the Kimpton Vintage because I have severe environmental sensitivities and it has a 9th floor of allergy free rooms. The room was almost entirely fragrance free, so I was able to be there comfortably. The downtown location makes it easy to get around on public transportation or by Uber. The staff is friendly and helpful. They scheduled a town car for me, to take me to the airport.

"Amazing"
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff was friendly and engaging, very helpful and even answered questions at checkin before i could ask. The hotel has a complimentary wine hour every day, right in the "living room" area of the lobby, which is absolutely beautiful and warm and cozy. Our room was clean and beautiful, very comfortable. We also dined at Sazeracs, and you should too! We opted for the new york strip dinners with some very different vegetables prepared with it, but it all paired so perfectly! Our server Brenden was fantastic! We were there for a birthday and anniversary and he made sure we had a dessert on them! We were stuffed after that amazing meal, so we called down and got it in our room later, which was also fantastic. We ordered breakfast in the next morning as well, and it was again amazing. The staff that brought the food each time was also polite and professional, but also engaging without feeling forced or intrusive. I have nothing bad to say, except we should have brought our pups to this pet friendly hotel...next time :-)
