"Now my favorite Seattle hotel."
Lovely, magical hotel that transports you back in time but still maintains modern conveniences. Elegant but not stuffy. Tons of pillows. Comfy beds. The bell hop was particularly careful to advise me that I was downtown and there are many apartment and office buildings from which people could observe me. Good advice! Parking is pricey and you must have a valet take your car. However, they do provide transportation within a 2 mile radius and that was provided promptly, pleasantly and comfortably. If you're not fond of ghosts, request a room other than one on the 4th floor. Rumor has it the place has several. Will definitely be my first choice for any return trips to Seattle.

"Seattle Layover"
Hotel was nice, but not in the nicest part of downtown. We took the light rail from SEATAC, then ~1 block walk down to the hotel. There are a lot of homeless people in this part of town - which led to some discussions with children in tow. Walked around the area to check-out some things we had looked-up. Next morning took an Uber to Amtrak station to catch a train (since hotel staff recommended to NOT walk the ~7 blocks). Nice hotel, nice staff, not the best part of town, suite was nice, but could still catch street noise.

Inn at the Market

"If You're Into the Market"
Can't beat the location if you are into the market scene. Rooms are clean and the whole hotel is somewhat minimalist. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Comfortable bed and linens. Street noise was not a problem. I wouldn't splurge for a room with a view since the best view and the best thing about the hotel is the deck on the 5th floor. You can see the market, the mountains, the ferris wheel, the Sound and Mt. Rainier. The stairwells smelled a little funky. A coat of paint might help, but that was our only complaint. Not a place for kids or families.

"Very easy access to Sport Event Stadium"
Valet Parking was great, very friendly front desk. But, the Juno Club, customer service was HORRIBLE. Never greeted when arrived, sat a the bar and the bartender never acknowledged us (there was only 10 customers in the entire bar area who had been served, and no one in the seated restaurant), three other servers were on the floor and also never greeted us. Was there a good 10min, and finally as we were leaving the bartender hurried to us, but it was too late. Found a few great sports bars along the route to the Stadium. The room was amazing, great black out drapes, but the shower was the entire bathroom, and the floor had settled away from the drain causing a good 1 1/2 in. of standing water in the entire bathroom (made for a shock when going to the restroom in the middle of the night). Sorry, not worth the amount of money I paid for one night.
