"Beautiful hotel, excellent food and staff! "
The hotel was great, booking thru Travelocity was not. I was booking on a rate of about 179.00. They said they had just run out of those rooms. Just after I booked the room I went back to the site and they were showing a new price of 175. I took a pic and the hotel was kind enough to take care of us. Won't use Travelocity again. We travel a lot.

"If You're Into the Market"
Can't beat the location if you are into the market scene. Rooms are clean and the whole hotel is somewhat minimalist. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Comfortable bed and linens. Street noise was not a problem. I wouldn't splurge for a room with a view since the best view and the best thing about the hotel is the deck on the 5th floor. You can see the market, the mountains, the ferris wheel, the Sound and Mt. Rainier. The stairwells smelled a little funky. A coat of paint might help, but that was our only complaint. Not a place for kids or families.

"Nice downtown hotel close to Pike Market"
Hotel staff was fantastic. Valet drivers were always smiling and there to open the hotel front door. Sir Toby helped check us in and recommended some things to do and ways to travel the downtown area to avoid the hills. This hotel is walking distance to the Pike Market, the underground tour, the flagship Nordstrom, and the Seattle Art Museum. There is a company that offers a shuttle service (for a fee) that will pick you up and take you to the Boeing factory tour (recommended). Several newspapers are available in the lobby as well as a coffee/tea bar in the morning. A wine reception with snacks occurs every evening in the lobby. There is a restaurant on site, but with all the yummy eats available in the area it doesn't really make sense to eat at the hotel. The rooms are small, but clean. The toiletries left something to be desired, but I loved the hair dryer. I paid extra for the view, but it wasn't really worth the extra cost. One final note, if you are going to stay in the downtown area and do not plan on driving other than to your hotel, I would recommend taking the monorail from SEA-TAC and then walking a short distance to the hotel. Save on the car and parking. There is really no need for a rental car.

"Exotic. I reminds me of European stile hotels."
It reminds me of European stile hotels. Rooms are smaller and chains hotels but feel so because of layout. Beds are very nice, dressers in rooms and the whole atmosphere is something unique. I will stay there again if the occasion arises.

My stay at Hotel Andra was overall a pleasant experience. Positives: Most of the staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were clean, stylish, and well appointed. It is in a very good location central to downtown Seattle and just a short walk from the market. I was able to check in early. Negatives: I have stayed in hotels in numerous large cities and I felt that it was expensive for the quality and amenities (about $350 with tax for a Thursday night). It was noisy for me. To be fair, I tend to be more noise sensitive than most. There was a lot of car traffic noise and sirens throughout the night. I did find a pair of earplugs in the bedside table but a fan for white noise would have been very helpful. I called the front desk and the person I spoke with was brusque and said they do not have fans. This was the only person I spoke with who was not professional and friendly. I gave the overall experience 3 stars because I felt it was overpriced, noisy, and my brief negative conversation with a staff member at the front desk.

"Now my favorite Seattle hotel."
Lovely, magical hotel that transports you back in time but still maintains modern conveniences. Elegant but not stuffy. Tons of pillows. Comfy beds. The bell hop was particularly careful to advise me that I was downtown and there are many apartment and office buildings from which people could observe me. Good advice! Parking is pricey and you must have a valet take your car. However, they do provide transportation within a 2 mile radius and that was provided promptly, pleasantly and comfortably. If you're not fond of ghosts, request a room other than one on the 4th floor. Rumor has it the place has several. Will definitely be my first choice for any return trips to Seattle.

"Great boutique hotel very close to attractons"
Very nice hotel. It was located perfectly in downtown. A close walk to everything but not on a main busy or loud street. So it felt private yet close to everything. The room was large and clean. We were on the 11th floor and it had great views of the water.
