Comfortable stay with some limitations
Very nice stay. This is a third floor unit within a large upscale apartment complex, so it has more of that feel than say a condo or vacation home. Views over the pond are nice, and the primary reason we chose to stay here. The property is new, clean, modern and quiet. Closets and bathrooms are roomy. Everything worked well. The internet was fast (250mb/s) and reliable. Access to the unit is easy and parking was plentiful. We did not use the pool or gym but they looked nice. The location is a bit far away from a major supermarket (5 miles), or anything except chain restaurants, but relatively easy to get in and out of with good access to I-16. This is a good location for visiting sites outside the city, as we mostly did, and avoiding most rush hour traffic. The furnishings are sparse, and it would have been more comfortable with a chair or two in the living room (there is only a couch), and dressers in the bedrooms (there is only a bed and nightstand). It feels a little sterile rather than homey. Don't expect to do a lot of cooking here: the kitchen is furnished with only the basics and could use more utensils and dishes. Matthew checked in with us regularly via the app and would typically respond within 10-15 minutes.Other than not having some kitchen items on hand, we did not encounter any problems during our stay.
