The room was clean and the retro was very nice. The distance to the beach was great and the parking was very good as well. But I gotta tell you the best thing there was this woman who I talked to at the hotel on the second day I arrived. The young guy at the desk and a younger female at the desk were not terrible. Impressive I really didn’t feel the interest at all but this other lady and I don’t know her name who was at the front desk was just wonderful. What an excellent personality and what an incredible pleasure to speak with her I so enjoyed her. She made the trip great combined with the other things that I mentioned. I look forward to coming back for my birthday in April this year and spending a couple of days there.

The location was pretty great (with an ocean view), staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the ice machine being readily available. The bed was clean, decorations fun, but we had a dusty bathroom area. We could have used a hook or two on the bathroom wall for towels. And there were no tissues, or place to hang a hand towel. All that aside, I would stay here again. Thank you!

I almost feel bad letting the secret out. What a great spot for a budget weekend getaway to SB! They gave us a free bottle of wine at check in. We had a view of the mountains out our window. It was a nice walk along the beach to the funk zone! And the best part was that we could have our dog stay for free!
