The in-wall air conditioner was very loud and actually made the walls vibrate. When the bed was pushed up against the wall, the whole bed shook from the AC vibrations and kept waking us up during the night. Was that rusted metal thing a safe? We didn’t want to touch it to find out. They gave us a box of Kleenex that was nearly empty. This place needs major updating.

Motel 6 at Hilton prices. Stayed here having to visit UCSB last minute, so hotel prices weren't good. Seemed like the best option on a budget. It was a place to sleep.... but at $300 a night could've at least had a shower that drained and towels that weren't cotton sandpaper. Staff was fine and friendly.

The staff was super nice and helpful when we asked questions about the property and our reservations status. A little bummed that the photos miss lead us in booking our stay here over others. Photos looked newly furnished bedrooms, bathroom and family room. Our room was outdated and a little rundown. Hotels and Inn's will always have noisy neighbors, but it was extremely noisy here as the walls are super thin. The shower didn't work to well with the hot or cold water. There wasn't a happy medium temperature wise. It's either all the way cold or all the way hot when the dial is turned that direction. All in all, the stay was comfortable enough for us to enjoy the pool and a nights sleep.
