Great location and great rooms. The only thing that keeps this hotel from 5 stars is the nighttime noise from the bar (s) below if you are on the front side of the building. It’s extremely disruptive to a good nights sleep and seems to be every night. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday and both nights were an issue until 2 am. The hotel itself is wonderful and comfortable, but the blaring music would make me reconsider staying there.

From start to finish, from top to bottom, an exceptional stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice: we arrived early, but they gave us a great corner room overlooking State Street, and when they found out, it was my birthday, they sent up a little bottle of wine and some chocolates. The rooms look like they were recently renovated from the last time we were there, and ours was incredibly charming with lots of interesting and unique touches. Really blown away by how great our stay was.
