Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and reasonable priced. Room was clean and comfortable and a good size. The only downside was that I booked it 30min before I arrived, and whilst the room rate was good, Expedia wanted to charge £47 as an extra for breakfast. The hotel charge £11.95 if you book when you arrive, or £15.95 on the morning, if you decide at the last minute. In summary don’t let Expedia con you!!

The shower water was cold, the bath only gave out scalding water that you couldn't cool down because the cold water tap didn't work. Reported to reception, nothing done. Reported to reception the following morning, was told to write out what had happened and the manager would phone me, two days later, the manager still hasn't called.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! The room was lovely and outlook was beautiful even in the rain however, the bathroom was grim!!! Black on ceiling due to use of shower and no ventilation snd the bath generally needed a good revamp as was very tired and old!!

Room was tired, bed too uncomfortable, that said we were switched to an alternative room which was significant better - well done front desk. Breakfast (full english) good and very clean. Bar staff good, but bar area cold and kids running around.

Noisiest hotel ever stayed in. Woken by tv in room next door, then again when they ran water - next room was not being loud just walls were paper thin. Woken again by traffic and reversing van. Doors banging all night and a strange clicking noise intermittently throughout the night. Hotel decor very tired even though we were told it had been renovated. Ran a bath - half way through filling grey matter filled the bath from the tabs. As a positive bar staff and reception staff were friendly. Waiting on manager contact
