Excellent for airport stay
Radisson Blu was just what we needed for an overnight stay at the airport. We were able to very easily walk to the Manchester airport terminal through the skywalk without having to maneuver on the street. Great service and food at the restaurant as well. Highly recommend!

Comfortable & Convenient
Very convenient to catch plane early morning as no need to catch a shuttle, just walk across the bridge from the hotel to the terminal so saves time & worry. Nice room with king-size bed. Plenty of drink options & kettle, biscuits, soaps, shampoo etc.

Stayed in the executive room with access to the executive lounge . Room was very nice and big . Lounge was excellent lots of drinks food was ok nothing special ,it opened at 4 till 9 we got in at 4.45 it looked like the rush just over . A man called Dean working there was so very helpful and polite .we flew with Jet 2 so checked our cases in before we went into the lounge so in the morning straight through security.

Convenient for the airport
The hotel is convenient for the airport. Overall a nice hotel. Checking in staff were very polite. We ordered room service as there was a long wait for the restaurant. Realistically for the size and purpose of the hotel the restaurant is very small. The room size was good and sound proof, the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there was a strange smell in the room. which was quite unpleasant.

Overall the stay was great - the only thing that was not great was the complimentary bottle of wine which was two miniature bottles of wine, a normal bottle of wine would not cost the hotel much more and would give a much better impression

Would’ve been 5 stars but for: 1. I paid for breakfast, which at 4am when we needed to leave for our flight I was told would be grab and go. When we got to reception to leave and pick up our breakfast there was nothing there. I raised this with the man at reception who said they’d not been told by the person who checked us in. Will be asking for a refund of the breakfast. 2. The hotel gym and pool is in fact a local gym and pool, so not just reserved for hotel guests. This was not problematic in itself but the non-hotel clientele weren’t particularly pleasant to be around - large groups of young men swearing loudly in front of our son and unable to stop staring at me / our son in the pool. Hotel should make it clear that gym / pool is not exclusive for guests as I booked the hotel with the specific goal of being able to take our son for a swim which was ultimately pretty unpleasant
