The location, cleanliness of room and service from the staff was good. However felt let down and disappointed as neither my husband and l didn’t experience a good night sleep. Every movement made turning or sitting on the bed it creaked the whole time. The room was designed for a wheelchair assisted person. We are able bodied people. It was brought to staff on duty attention an apology given and reassurance was given it would be addressed. An additional made by the staff member implied because the booking was made through Expedia that’s why we were given this wheelchair access room which was not appropriate explanation because no such request was ever made.

My favourite racecourse adjacent hotel. I would have liked a view of the course rather than the car park. Breakfast at least had a great view of the track - and soft scrambled eggs(hurrah).

Awful stay

Terrible stay in a hotel that i ordinarily enjoy. I visit family in Doncaster 3-4 times a year and always stay here This time there I was constantly woken by drunk people running and shouting in the corridors. Smell of cannabis so strongly in the corridor outside my room that I had to put a towel to block the door to the room I was woken at 2am, 4:30 by loud drunk people. Then someone knocked on my room at 8am According to reception 60 people turned up and booked last minute rooms late on sat night - they clearly fancied a hotel party 😆 Room was also not great this time. Safe wouldn’t work and sink wouldn’t drain - the cleaner clear knew this as she left the whole plug unit on the side of the sink!! Will probably have to try somewhere else next time as I now have to drive 4-5 hrs in a couple of hours sleep (which defeated the point of paying for a hotel!)

Day at the races

Easy to access to car park then hotel parking cost overnight £5 a real goid price check out friendly and quick even being a major race day bar area comfortable with outside access right against the running rail room clean with high modern furnishings. We are a couple in our 60s but like pubs and music we got a taxi in to high street at 6 and there were packed pubs with people of a similar age dancing and having a great time the place was banging and we dont want to wait until 11 or 12 to find somewhere to have a dance and crack.
