We were impressed with this resort. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was large and very fun for adults and kids. It was nice to have a separate adult pool with the swim up bar, and incredible ocean view as well. Our room was very clean, housekeeping does a wonderful job. AC works great. We had an incredible ocean view, and the view from the pathway to our room was also lovely. Food was good, resort was clean. I would highly recommend this budget friendly resort.

This was such an amazing place to stay at and was very clean and beautiful. .I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my family & friends. I will be staying here again in the future. The staff was so courteous, and went above and beyond, especially trinidad, he was exceptional.

We got upgraded to a beach view, it was somewhat obstructed by trees and such but it was a nice upgrade from a tropical view. Room was large, with 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living area, king bed and large bedroom with 2 balconies. It was a bit outdated and some areas of the room needed some work but it was spacious and just what we needed for our stay. Staff were welcoming and kind, the buffet was great. I wanted to give a big shout out to Damian for being a great member on the entertainment team!! He’s amazing!!

The exterior parts of the hotel are nice and relatively modern. The rooms need upgrades. The bathroom sink didn’t have a sink stopper and the toilet barely flushed. I went without conditioner for 3 days. One of the two beds was broken because everytime I got on it to sleep it made a loud noise. However, the bed itself was comfortable. The bed lacked blankets and it got cold. The restaurants with exception of buffet you must have reservations and make them early. The buffet food was good and we enjoyed it. Staff was pretty friendly and worked hard to keep the place clean and attend to guest. The beach front was the best part. Check in and check out was seamless. I liked they didn’t pressure you into buying anything. I’d stay here again but will experience other hotels before I considered staying here. My 12 year old daughter had no complaints. She loved it all.

The resort was wonderful, and the Expedia team were excellent to deal with. They provided us with a complimentary upgrade which gave us a wonderful view of the resort and ocean from our king sized room. We were able to book meals at the restaurants on very short notice. Breakfast in their hospitality area was delightful, as we aren’t into crowds first thing in the morning. The resort always had lots of things going on that we could participate in Foam party, lighting of the Christmas tree, mariachi band, neon dance party, outdoor movie, bike trip, aqua size and so much more. Staff were so accommodating and we felt that they were always happy to see us. An extra kudos to Diego, Adrian and Luis! Gracias!

The swim up rooms need to be updated. Valerie checked us in and gave us absolutely no info on the resort, to the point we had to ask for a map to figure where things were at. She also told us the Grill restaurant was steak but it was Italian. The waiter at the Grill made up for it. Staff could be friendlier.

I was disappointed with my stay at the Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta. I had high hopes since I’ve been to another Krystal Grand before, but this one fell short in food quality, customer service, and overall upkeep. It’s a smaller property — still nice in appearance, but nothing that truly feels grand. The lady in the main lobby (the one with the overdrawn lipstick and crooked teeth) was rude and unhelpful, which really set the tone at check-in. On the positive side, the Expedia representatives in the downstairs office were phenomenal — friendly, helpful, and professional. When it comes to food, the buffet was actually better than the restaurants that required reservations. I tried all three restaurants, and my advice is to plan ahead and arrive on time, because they won’t serve you if you’re late. The food overall was mediocre at best. If you want to grab food from the buffet, be sure to be fully dressed with shoes — the staff strictly enforce this rule, even if you just came from the pool. I ended up bringing an extra outfit to change into each time. Amenities: The gym and pools close early (around 7–8 p.m.), which was disappointing since we were usually out on excursions during the day. The swim-up bar was fun, and the bartenders were great, especially Eder at the infinity pool — excellent customer service! The infinity pool itself gets very crowded, with people leaning over the edge most of the time, but it has a nice view. The iguanas by the pool were a cool touch, and the

Room was wondetful with a great pool view and we were high enough to also be able to see the ocean on the 7th floor as well. Staff was very friendly at the biffet and took great care of us when we checked in. Adrian at the pool and Rolando at the buffet restaurant were both standouts to us. It is clear they enjoy working with people and take great pride in providing an exceptional customer experience. Would highly recommend for families and ideal for adults only as well.

We stayed at the Krystal in October and overall had a wonderful vacation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hospitality throughout our stay was truly amazing. The coffee bar was also a standout — absolutely fantastic! That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. The buffet was on the smaller side and didn’t offer much variety, and one of the restaurants was only open on Fridays and Saturdays, which was a bit disappointing. My biggest complaint, however, was the lack of nighttime entertainment. There wasn’t a designated area for shows, and what they did offer seemed geared more toward locals than hotel guests. Despite these drawbacks, we still enjoyed our time at the resort. With a few enhancements, it could be an even better experience.

The place was insanely busy and dirty. Not a relaxing stay. Loud music constantly, dirty used plates and cups all over the resort. The food was subpar and the restaurants were worse than the buffet.
