The room was very clean when we got there. The temperature inside was 50°. They had not turned the heat up for us before we arrived, but we went to dinner and came back and it was nice and warm. Then we took the room because we like the fact that it had a fireplace what we didn’t expect was that all the walls would be Pepto-Bismol pink and that the ceiling would have mirrors on it and the mirror on the wall had disco colors around the edge that would dance around woo hoo.
once u get past the color there is a round shower- can hold 2. separate heater is bath room worked well.
there were several modes for the perimeter lighting of the mirror, but could not get the control lights to go off at night- lots of glowing lites in room

Not a bad place but not a great place. Convenient location. A bit noisy in the building with people coming/going. The lighting in the room could be better other than the glaring overhead lights - there was a small table lamp but the lamplight itself was low and didn't provide much (if any) real light. Bath towels could be updated as they didn't provide adequate drying after shower.

This room was not on ocean side. We knew that when we booked. The fireplace was nice for the cold nights. I had to message to ask a question and was responded to immediately. We had a great time. Room is right on commercial street. Walk to everything! The Portuguese bakery is right across the street!! So good!!

The location is perfect right in the middle of everything. The place is very well kept and clean. The rooms are nice, comfortable and very clean. The only thing the room is lacking is a small fridge which would be nice. The people with younger kids at the end of the hall were very loud with music and noise till 1:30am, thank god they only stayed one night. There is no known management on property which would be nice for these type issues but wouldn’t take that away from our stay. Had a great stay and would definitely go back. The only other tough thing is dropping off your luggage, there is no parking even for drop off so you have to park quick in the street, drop off your things and then go park somewhere.

I booked this room on my way to P town and honestly did not have super high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with every detail of the property. From the staff reaching out, sharing the room code and tips and tricks, to the room itself, I was throughly impressed. The location is perfect and the accommodations were fantastic. I highly recommend!

It was convenient to everything. It was quiet. Communication from management was good. The neighborhood was friendly and helpful especialy in telling us where the entry was and how to use the code when were obviusly struggling. The shower was great. However, our room was too cold. If there was a way to turn the thermostat up, we couldn't figure it out. The fireplace helped a little. The cool temp seems to be a waste of energy and thus money for Lotus. Also, when I turned on the sink in the bedroom Tues evening, the water spurted out of the faucet straight onto my clothes. Not a good feeling in a cold room. I assume the pressure was a result of a broken water pipe downstairs earlier in the day. ( We were not home when that happened and were not affected by the break, however we appreciate the notification from management.) Other than those things, our stay was enjoyable.

I have never been so disappointed in a hotel, and I spend 35-40 nights per year in hotels. This run down old hotel is costing us nearly $500 for one night. The carpets are gross and stained. The bath mat is stained. The wooden bed frame is worn and looks like it is about to fall apart. It doesn’t even fit the mattress. The amenities are non existent unless you count a few chairs outside and a sad looking sauna. There is no staff and no one has responded to our call. This place is not as advertised and I would never have chosen to stay here if the description was anything approximating reality. I want a refund.

Everything about the place was great. However the management is not responsive. They charged me an additional $150 for cleaning, and we left it spic and span. Didn't use the oven or stove or dishes or utensils. There is a note that says if you use these things and don't clean them there will be a $150 charge. They charged me anyway. Still trying to get the refund. So beware. But it is a nice place.
