"We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The resort was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless every day, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job. The evening turndown service was a thoughtful touch that made us feel well cared for. The staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone was warm, friendly, and professional, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Patricat Mono Restaurant, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. He is truly an asset to the resort and deserves special recognition. We also appreciated the outstanding team at Pier 8, where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Their exceptional hospitality made each meal memorable. The spa experience was another highlight. The staff member who arranged our appointment was professional and accommodating, and the two therapists who treated my husband and me were exceptional. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The entertainment was absolutely fantastic and one of the best parts of our stay. There was always something fun and exciting to enjoy. The only suggestions I have are to offer more authentic Jamaican dishes at the Buccaneers Buffet and through room service, including traditional Jamaican chicken soup prepared the authentic way. I would also love to see the Italian restaurant expand its menu by adding shrimp dishes and classic Alfredo pasta"

"Food and entertainment were great. I've stayed at 10 all inclusive resorts and been on over 20 cruises, primarily on Royal Caribbean, which is known for their entertainment and while Riu Ocho Rios' entertainment was not quite at the quality of Royal Caribbean Cruises, it is the only all inclusive resort that I can think of that clearly invest in their entertainment. The specialty restaurants are subpar and I would be willing to pay an up charge for higher quality specialty restaurants. The Jamaican food was very good."
