"Booked this hotel through Expedia. I'll start with the positive. Great location if you want to be where the action is and be around live music. Plenty of shops and restaurants all near by. Steps from nice beach. Easy check-in process. Maribel was very pleasant. The Superior rooms on 8th floor give you a nice balcony, with comfy chairs and a great ocean view. Clean large room and comfortable bed. On the negative, this hotel can use a little TLC in some areas. Rooms are nothing fancy, no extras and no air conditioner, no decor. Very basic. There is a ceiling fan that runs on high speed only and is noisy. So if you are there during hot months...good luck cooling down at night. You do get a nice ocean breeze if you leave sliding glass door open, however, there is no screen door. If you are sensitive to noice, definitely bring ear plugs because you have very loud live bands playing all around the hotel and on beach. Bathroom was clean, however tile grout can use a good scrubbing. On the hotel website it stated breakfast was included. However, when I asked about it, I was informed that since I had booked through Expedia, breakfast would not be included. At checkout, someone is sent to your room to check it's status before you are checked out. Overall, stay was ok for the price."

"I was a bit hesitant about where to stay, but I came across this hotel and honestly ended up enjoying my stay. The room was clean and fresh, and the air conditioning worked well. I also have to mention the pillows—they were so comfortable. The restroom inside my room was spotless. The lobby staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made my stay feel comfortable from the start. We had dinner there on our first night and our server was warm and attentive. However, breakfast the next morning was a different experience. I wasn’t really taken care of, and the waiter never checked on me. I ended up getting my own napkins and silverware. I also walked out without paying because I thought breakfast was included with my stay based on what had been mentioned to me. The breakfast buffet itself had a nice variety of delicious options. One downside that wasn’t mentioned until arrival was that the pool was unavailable due to renovations. Also, parking was not included, but the price was completely reasonable—I believe it was $2.00 each time you exited. Overall, despite a couple of inconveniences, I had a pleasant stay and would consider returning. Perhaps a new review."

"The hotel was good for the price. No windows though for some weird reason (maybe it was just my floor). Good location. Staff were friendly except the one lady at reception who hung up on me when I asked if it was okay for staff to bring up my Uber Eats order. It was brought up by someone. Shower water was always cold so that kind of sucked. Also the taxi guy they got for me scammed me and dropped. E to departures for the airport so I had to get another taxi, pay 500 pesos so literally get dropped off 5 mins away to the walking border to San Diego. I would still book this hotel again not bad for the price I paid, spacious/ clean room,friendly staff (except the one girl) and obviously the taxi wasn’t ther fault I also didn’t report it to them because I was overwhelmed and just wanted to get home."
